As a vegan mom, it’s incredibly important to me that my son Ezra has all the same joyful experiences his siblings had before I became more intentional about our lifestyle. I wasn’t sure what to expect when it came to finding a beautiful, delicious vegan cake—but then I found Velvet Bakery, and I am so grateful I did.

From the moment I reached out, Kenya was incredibly respectful, professional, and kind. Her warmth came through even in her voice, and she made the entire process feel so smooth and stress-free. After reading so many glowing reviews about her vegan cakes and cupcakes, I had high hopes—but she still managed to exceed every single one of them.

When the cake arrived, I was genuinely surprised at how generous the size was for the price—it was more than fair. And the taste? Amazing. Even my older kids, who are not vegan, loved the cupcakes and the cake. That alone speaks volumes.

Kenya truly went above and beyond, and I will absolutely be returning to her for Ezra’s 2nd birthday next year. If you’re looking for a bakery that offers delicious vegan options without sacrificing flavor, quality, or presentation—Velvet Bakery is it. I couldn’t recommend her enough.

This is the second year we've ordered a vegan birthday cake from VK to celebrate a family birthday, and this is the second year the cake was absolutely phenomenal. Def recommend.

Miss Kenya was very nice and explaining all of the ingredients to me I am vegan and that’s very important. She was able to deliver the items that I ordered two different kinds of cookies, Maui macadamia flavor and a chocolate chip flavor. I found the Maui very warm tasting with robust ingredients. I enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie. It had a very good chocolate in it, and she added sprinkles. I really appreciated her respecting my request. She packaged everything nicely, and I appreciate this place taking into consideration people who are vegan. It makes me feel very included that she was able to make these items for me. I would order again.

Beautifully made vegan cupcakes. The owner was very kind and made a dozen for me with short notice. Reasonably priced. owner is so nice and pleasant to speak with, answered all questions about ingredients that were used. I will be returning to this business

I ordered a vegan Strawberry cake for a coworkers Going Away party. The cake was delicious. The majority of the office are not vegan and and there were many comments on how good the cake was and how we could not tell it was vegan. I personally love a strawberry cake from another well known chain bakery but I have to say, I liked this cake much better.

Evelyn is always at the farmers market with the pies and cakes which are delicious. I didn’t think they could be best until

Miss Kenya went above and beyond our expectations! She listened to exactly what we wanted for our order and did more than 100%!! We wanted a specific Pokémon theme for a surprise and she also included a sentimental to wrap it all together. Our daughter’s classmates and her really enjoyed the flavors and the beautiful art of each character! Thank you again Miss Kenya! 🌺❤️

I ordered a cake for my wife's birthday, with the caveat that it had to be dairy & gluten free because she is sensitive to both diary and gluten. It turned out really good! Keep in mind that the kitchen is not a gluten free kitchen, which the owner Kenya told me, but that was okay for my situation. It was moist and tasted great! I ordered vanilla, which had somewhat of a sugar-cookie taste to it. Everyone enjoyed the cake, and I would absolutely order again!

I called Kenya with a last minute order the day before Halloween. Our friends decided to have a surprise, last minute Halloween/elopement party. Couldn’t ask for better customer service. The cake she made could not have been more perfect for the event. Cannot say enough about how much we appreciated her hard work!

I ordered a vegan red velvet cake for my husband’s graduation. There was a communication mistake with my order but the owner went above and beyond making everything perfect. The cake was delicious! We didn’t tell anyone that the cake was vegan and the non vegan almost ate up
the whole cake. I managed to save 2 small pieces.
Taste and service gets a 10 from us.
