When we walked in the shift supervisor greeted us cursing under her breath. She continued swearing under her breath as she put the silverware down. My friend asked for a menu and she mocked her. Overall very rude and unacceptable behavior especially from a shift lead. We will not be returning and will recommend our friends and family do not go to this location

Sommer is always amazing & in great spirits everytime I come in late night. I’ve literally ate Waffle House 2x in a row bc her service was literally amazing for me. Easy & when she’s not taking order & has down time she brings me my food. I literally love this Waffle House in trussville I swear!!!!

This is the most unwelcoming Waffle House I have ever been too. I come here on my 1 hour lunch on occasion and every time I have gotten here they have waisted my entire lunch. I’ve been sitting in my booth for 15 minutes i wasn’t welcomed, I watched them clean tables in front of me. No drink, no silverware, nothing. I imagine I can sit here and waste my lunch break. Unfortunately this is the second time this has happened. The first time I had placed a to go order and had stood at the register for 20 minutes still being ignored for them to say oh I’m sorry I thought someone else had helped you.

My wife and I stopped here tonight for a late supper, it was almost 9pm. We were greeted as we walked in, but it was a good 5 minutes before anyone came to the table to get our order. We ordered coffee, that tasted like it was burnt. The food was the only thing that was decent about this visit. Two cooks and three waitresses, one waitress had just walked in and was ignoring customers because she was on her cell phone and then she was behind the counter eating. Our waitress only came back once, just before we were done with our meal, to ask if we wanted more coffee. We said yes, but requested fresh coffee. She grabs the coffee that had been sitting there since before we walked in and said it was fresh. Fresh coffee is coffee that was brewed while you were sitting in the restaurant, not coffee that had been sitting there for 30 minutes or so. Will not be back to this location ever again, poor service and poor attitudes.

Got over looked twice by the to go cashier that was supposed to take my order. Had another waitress from the other side of the restaurant seen it and came and took my order. The lady could have at least greeted me.

Upon arrival, there were no seats which was ok. However, no one acknowledged us. After about 5 minutes, and 2 tables leaving, I went and ask one of the ladies how does seating work, because this was my first time at a Waffle house. She stated that I can sit anywhere a table is open. At this point, no table was cleaned as yet though. About 1-2 minutes later one of the ladies (Alex ) saw me looking around lost and asked me if I wanted a table. I told her yes and she seated me and took my order. I guess she could be considered the savior of my rocky first time experience. Perhaps some changes need to be made, where guest are greeted when they walk in, and it can just be said, we will be with you in an minute or if dining in, you can sit at any open table.
