Struts is nothing more than a college restaurant, where no one knows how to cook.... I and my family have been there three times, and we still have not gotten a lunch that we were able to sit there and eat in full....Three times our food was either overcooked or under-cooked....one time we waited for 45 minutes before ever getting our lunch....we had to walk out and to to huddle house. There food is crappy and that is all there is to it.......

Grabbed a late afternoon meal with our family while attending a performance at nearby JSU stadium. We were seated promptly on arrival around 230 pm. Sat in booth and waiter tended to us promptly taking drink orders & bring menus to table. Noted short list of beers on menu and folks I was with growled a bit at short list. Took long time for mixed drink to be brought to table. Beers came reasonably quick, however, when refills were ordered of the same, didn't get same flavor on the first attempt. I ordered a Reuben sandwich for my entree. Food came rather quickly. Reuben came hot but was not impressed with the meat and it's color, as it seamed very dark in comparison to others I've had at other establishments. Daughter not impressed with Moscow mule she ordered and waited on forever. Ordered coffee for meal chaser to warm up from cold day, but first cup was luke warm when served. A do over occurred with a fresh pot being made at my request. Establishment is average and what's one to expect when within walking distance of nearby stadium. Restaurant overate or definitely had an off day when we were there.

We love to eat here when we come back for JSU football. We ate tonight because we were here for graduation. Food was awesome, but service was a bit slow. It was not a problem because we were visiting with family.

The hamburger steak was flavorful. All side dishes compliment well. The only downside was Monday night bingo draws a crowd which was noisy for the intent of my visit but no biggie. Loved the food!!!
