The charm of traditional Birmingham is all over Z’s. Homemade, family-owned, and soul-filled, Z’s restaurant made a late Sunday lunch quite a treat, including the pies and cobbler we are taking home. Definitely coming back to support a good Birmingham business!
Tastes like real home cooked soul food. Greens and yams were delicious. I didn't plan on finishing my plate (generous portions), but I couldn't stop. We got the bean pie to go.
The food was excellent. Even though the line was out the door the service was fast and friendly. I had the fried chicken breast which was perfect. At the condiment station they had an assortment of hot sauces and syrup for the fried chicken. I cant say how amazing the food was. Everything was perfect and delicious.
