This place is amazing! The brisket is so tender and flavorful it practically melts in your mouth, and the fried peach pie… unreal. Crispy on the outside, warm and sweet inside, honestly the best I’ve ever had. You can taste the love in every bite. Deep South Family Bbq is a total gem!

My children ages 8 and 16 just watched an employee of this business call a dog into the street to be hit by cars. My children are devastated bc the dog got hit very bad. The man continued to walk over and sit at the covered area. When I asked why he did what he did his friend said he was going to call the police but I already had.

On my way into work in the morning I noticed a gentleman getting the BBQ going, so I made a decision that I wanted to have barbecue today for lunch. Went in very simple easy menu to read off of and to pick your items. I had the Leg Quarter chicken with baked beans and Cajun corn. All the food was delicious and the barbecue sauce was warm which was an Good Surprise. The baked beans were flavorful, the Cajun corn had the right amount of kick to it, but not too hot. The chicken was smoked to perfection, the skin was amazing and the meat was very moist and perfectly cooked. The staff were very nice, knowledgeable on the menu and all the ingredients in the food, I felt very welcomed there and it looked like they have a lot of repeat locals. They offer an outdoor seating area that covered up, I took my meal to eat at work, and from the moment I walked in with my food, everyone wanted to know where I got that good smelling food from, I told them the Deep South BBQ. As they have written on their wall “Put Some South In Yo Mouth!” It’s worth a stop!

Oh my word I've never had such a tasty Tater in my life
Only on Wednesday's do they have the loaded barbecue baked sweet potato Wilton little spicy jalapeno chips oh so much butter and way too much pork for one person's face

Lady said 13$ for BBQ and I did tap pay, got home and she had did a 3.97$ tip without asking and permission. Owner said he'd give it back, will update when I go back
