I was just visiting, but you can tell it's a hometown favorite. A little hole in the wall place with a real meat and 3, not like chain restaurants. Reasonably priced with great homemade desserts.

First time eating here. We called it in, gave'm 20 minutes and it was ready when I arrived. Meat and three veggies for both of us. We chose fried chicken tenders (excellent), cornbread, mashed potatoes, okra, pintos, greens, creamed corn and green beans. The tenders are worth going back for, the veggies are prepared well enough...needed a little salt and pepper to live'n them up and I was pleased that the cornbread seemed to not have sugar. After reading reviews on here, I think we are going to have to try the dressing, desserts and burgers! Very pleased and satisfied. This place is super tiny, so, an order for pick up is recommended. The interior is pleasant enough for a quick lunch, though.
