I was just visiting, but you can tell it's a hometown favorite. A little hole in the wall place with a real meat and 3, not like chain restaurants. Reasonably priced with great homemade desserts.
First time eating here. We called it in, gave'm 20 minutes and it was ready when I arrived. Meat and three veggies for both of us. We chose fried chicken tenders (excellent), cornbread, mashed potatoes, okra, pintos, greens, creamed corn and green beans. The tenders are worth going back for, the veggies are prepared well enough...needed a little salt and pepper to live'n them up and I was pleased that the cornbread seemed to not have sugar. Took a small, frail elderly lady. Staff member held the door open before we got to it and was very attentive to my friend during our stay. Food was very good & reasonably priced.
