Mrs Elizabeth welcomed us like family. The food was delicious, especially the chicken soup and sancocho. The alcapurrias and the dough were very good. Very good Puerto Rican food in the mountains of Alabama. Highly recommended. Also, the price was more cheaper than I expected.
I had a late lunch here last week, and the food was amazing. More importantly, the service was absolutely fantastic. The owner was so kind, explained the dishes, and made sure we all felt as if we were at home. The atmosphere was so comfortable, which matched the comfort food provided. Amazing rice, beans, and ribs. I will definitely go back, and if you’re in downtown Boaz it’s definitely worth dropping by.

We went for lunch and both the service and food were fantastic! The mofongo de pollo and the arroz con gandules were so flavorful and tasty. Everyone was a pleasure to talk to and prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back!
