We drove over an hour to try this restaurant. We double-checked the hours of operation. When we got there, they were closed. No sign on the door with an explanation. Will not go back.

I guess it’s closed down. Haven’t been open in over 3 months

The food is amazing and they make you feel welcome in serving you. I found them and I'm following them every time I can. Go and try it you will not regret it.

The taste of the food is wonderfully seasoned , it isn't spicy unless you asked for it to be. Elizabeth the owner is very friendly and insightful. A Must try drink is the cucumber-lemon water , is so refreshing. We will be back to eat again.

Everything! We stopped by today. Clean restaurant - felt homey and comfortable. Music playing in background. Greeted by the ladies (very welcoming). Bathroom very clean. We ordered appetizers first which were delish. Alcapurrias (definitely ordering again. Potato balls were filled with pork which I never tried before and were great. Empanadas filled with chicken were fabulous and had a sweet taste- definitely recommend. We then got entree with rice and beans and fried chicken- thought it couldn’t get better but it did! Seasoned perfectly and chicken crispy on the outside and juicy in the inside. The beans were amazing. My hubby got tripleta sandwich and homemade fries. He loved it, everything seasoned to perfection and homemade fries was the finishing touch. Will definitely be back. If you’re not in a rush stop in and enjoy the homey atmosphere, but if in a rush call in order and they’ll have ready for you. By the end we were family (vibe that I missed from my Puerto Rican culture).

We went for lunch and both the service and food were fantastic! The mofongo de pollo and the arroz con gandules were so flavorful and tasty. Everyone was a pleasure to talk to and prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be going back!
