This was what my wife and I wanted to share with our kids and grandchildren while staying at Gulf Shores AL! It was highly recommended by the owners of the beach side house we rented. If looking to buy fresh, off the boat Gulf sea food at reasonable prices then this is the spot! The staff were outstanding and directed my wife to the best shrimp to grill as well as helped her choose the Grouper we grilled as well. Got to try their own Crab Cakes (premade and in the deep freeze)...
I have been coming to Billy’s to get fresh grouper, shrimp, oysters, flounder, and other things that swim for quite awhile now and let me tell you, it doesn’t get any better if you want fresh off the boat seafood. I live locally and Billy's has been my go to seafood place for 20 years.I frequently reccomend Billy's to others. However- I must say I have been disappointed with the cooked crawfish this year. It seems either overcooked or less than fresh. The crawfish are too light in weight, mushy, and hard to peel. Really let down by this experience.
