“Great oysters, you gotta get some!”

“I tried the Tin Top for the first time today (lunch on a Saturday), I was dining alone, as I really just stopped by to check the place out. We are opening an Airbnb about a half mile for the restaurant and want to be able to recommend it to our guests. Food was pretty good, I had a basic hamburger and slice of key lime pie, I think that their dinners may be more impressive, as it is a popular spot. They have all you can eat on Wednesday, I believe it was mullet and catfish. They had a prime rib special on the board for $34. Overall it was a pleasant experience, however it took the staff 5 minutes to acknowledge I was there, they asked if I would like to be seated at the bar, when I declined the girl gave me a bit of an irritated vibe, she wasn’t rude, but just let her annoyance show a little, i was one person taking a full 4 top table. Once seated, it took my actual server at least 5-6 minutes to get to my table, she was very sweet, and super friendly. She got my order and bring my drink, she did a nice job of keeping my drink glass full, but my meal was delivered (by someone else) with no burger toppings whatsoever, just a burger on a bun with cheese… at $14 a little lettuce, tomato pickle etc is nice. It took her a while to come back and she actually noticed that it was a bare naked burger and fries, offered to run back and get toppings, that took another 5 minutes, bu this time my food was cold. When she stopped back she had my bill, but had not brought my pie (I preordered it with my food). She picked up the bill added the pie and you guessed it, it took her a really long time to come back with the pie, like almost 10 minutes. The pie is just key lime pie, it was not the best I have had and certainly by no means the worst, it doesn’t have any whip cream on it and it is a pretty small slice for $8. After I finished my pie it took a long time again to get my updated bill, and I actually had to grab her and just hand her my cr card to pay so I could leave. It took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to have lunch (1 person) it wasn’t real busy, I would say probably 60% capacity, and it was lunch not dinner, on a Saturday afternoon. I will definitely try this place again, as the food warrants a redo, but if the service is the same, this would not be a repeat for a 3rd visit, it good food, but not good enough to be sooo slow.”

“Food was excellent! Fresh ingredients and freshly made every day. Our server Amanda was friendly and helpful! We also got to meet the owner and chef which was awesome. We are definitely coming back during our vacation.”

“We walked in, saw the car & we asked can we sit at the car table and we were immediately seated. Brittany S. was our server and was fabulous. She was pleasant, smiled, joked with us & checked on our needs on a regular basis. When we were done eating, we asked if she would take our picture with the car and she said sure! We asked for a couple of angles and she happily did it! The food was excellent, came quickly and there was a lot of it. We enjoyed everything about our experience!”

“Such a fun place!!! We’d never been there before and decided to give it a try. Absolutely did not disappoint!! The entertainment was top notch, and the food was just as good!! There was a mishap of a rather disgruntled guest there, and the Manager Brittany came over just to make sure we were all good. She was so nice and hooked us up with fun stuff. 10/10 place!”

“We have loved everything we have tried so far!! The fried oysters taste fresh and are good! I love the miso soup, shrimp tempura roll, and california roll. My husband loves the chicken yakisoba noodles. The food is the same when you DoorDash vs pickup. It’s always hot and fresh.”

“This place is my go to for coffee and my favorite chicken pesto panini sandwich. The seasonal flavors are delicious and the muffins for breakfast are warm and tasty. The staff here are so kind, welcoming, and friendly. I'm so happy that I found Happy Pappy's! I'll certainly be a repeat customer for as long as possible.”

“We are back home in Foley Alabama after being north for the summer just came from shrimp basket .WOW.! Misty waited on us and made our lunch date so special. The gulf shrimp is better than before also the new French fries are awesome.Spend summers in Iowa we enjoy a good burger,but their burger as my husband says the best Damn burger ever.IIf you are looking for a friendly atmosphere great food that's consistent. “We got there at 9pm, thinking they closed at 10. They close at 9:30 on Sundays. They were SO kind to us. The owner/manager came out to our table to make sure everything was to our liking, our waitress was amazing. We got the red snapper, surf and turf, sushi, lobster Mac and firecracker shrimp. Everything was delicious. The macaroni by itself on the surf & turf plate was the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. Lobster Mac was amazing. Steak was perfectly cooked. The fish was the best I’ve ever had. The way they told us we could stay as long as we like. We were tired from the beach so we left about 9:40 but wow, I’ll never forget this place! Instead of being annoyed, they treated us like gold.”

“Last week I called to order for a customers job site, spoke with Natalie and from the first call to her arriving on the site, everything was absolute top notch! I had 130 people to feed and was worried to be honest, but the communication, the service, and of course the food itself, went above and beyond my expectations! For anyone looking to feed a crowd, give them a chance, you will not be disappointed!”

“Exceptional. Holiday weekend. Positive and great service from the host to the servers to management who you could see was actively involved. As somebody who worked in the restaurant industry it literally makes me happy to see that. The food was ready quick, hot, fresh, and delicious. The space was clean as clean can be. We will always come back here. Kudos to this place because they are doing it right. Rare to get both good service and good food from a restaurant these days, but the folks on this shift nailed it.”

“Three of us went with high expectations Two were well satisfied with Grouper and Lobster meals, I had a rib eye steak that was so tough that I was unable to eat. The manager comped the meal quickly with an apology, Believe this was a rare occasion and appreciate the way it was handled.”

“Finally made it here for pizza after living in Foley for 2 yrs. Wow! Very delicious New York style thin crust pizza!! Definitely will be coming here many more times for our pizza fix. The leftovers were even better the next day heated up in our air fryer. Oxox”

“The OmG poboy was delicious. Shrimp perfectly fried and super fresh! Even the lettuce and tomato tasted like it came from the garden. The tomato was perfect. I loved the sample of swamp soup, also delicious. I wanted to taste the gumbo, it also did not disappoint! Hush puppies perfectly flavored. Fries and okra fresh. Service was friendly, wait time was appropriate. Highly recommend. It does have an old vibe to the building. I’m guessing it was an Asian restaurant prior. Overall absolutely amazing, it’s definitely on my return restaurants in Foley.”

“My wife and I went for dinner while on spring break, she had the brisket Mac and cheese, and I had the bleu burger. Both were amazing!! Also the salad we got with our meals were the best!!! Our waitress was amazing as well. This place is top notch!! Thanks for having us!!”
