Dare I say the best BBQ I've had since moving here in January; and reasonably priced.
We tried the ribs plate and brisket plate. Sides were baked beans, cole slaw and potato salad.
Brisket was cooked perfectly!! Ribs were wonderful. Baked beans best ever; pork in the beans is perfect. I bought a pint to bring home. Cole slaw chopped; not soggy like a lot of places. Potato salad was good but had chunks of onion in; not an onion fan - my fault for not asking first.
Owner gave us a taste of the pork belly - oh my!!!
Seriously, you can not go wrong at EG's.
Owner is down to earth and we had a great conversation after our meal.
Took Cinnamon bun and ice cake home. Delicious.
We will definitely be back! This may turn into a monthly date night.

This is my 4th time getting EG BBQ, it is absolutely delicious!!!!!!! The hot potato salad, yummy, the loaded mashed potato, yum! Everything is delicious. The Brisket is just beyond, I am already looking forward to my next visit!!!!!!!!

Out first time eating there (we just moved down), we were treated like we've been going there for years! Amazing brisket, amazing beans, the banana pudding was superb! Owner sat, talked to us like we were old friends! It was so welcoming. And delicious of course.

The Pork Belly was the best I've ever had. The brisket was melt in your mouth. We were three hours from home, but the people at the restaurant and customs coming in and out treated my wife and I like regular customers. If you are ever in the area it is very much worth finding and eating. I know we will go back!!

We were lucky enough to be able to eat at EGs twice during our stay in town. The brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken are amazing! For sides we tried the baked beans and coleslaw. Both were great. During dinner we had a nice conversation with the owner and his mom. Her cinnamon rolls and banana pudding are the best we've ever eaten. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in town.
