Well, 2-13-26, I got to get EG’s BBQ. My daughter lives in Huntsville and normally they’re closed when I drive by. I got the family pack BBQ pulled pork, I can only say one word.…AMAZING. So much BBQ to cover the 8 buns, and I must mention the buns, LEWIS, best bread ever, they actually put the best buns in with their meat. The ribs were tender, fell off the bone, delicious. Baked beans and slaw, delicious as well. I got one of each dessert, the banana pudding, peanut butter pie, great. My favorite was the lemon ice box pie, so so good, all homemade. I would love to show a pic however when I got back to Northport, I wasn’t thinking of anything other than that food, the smell in my ride, oh my goodness. The only bad thing I can say, they’re not near me. But, if they were I’d gain ten pounds in two days! I would eat there Friday and Saturday. If you’re in the area (exit 299 off I-65 get on 69 go south past Stoney Lonesome park), give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

The best BBQ chicken I've ever had. Hubby had the brisket sandwich and said it was equal to a place we had visited that was on FoodTV. Love that they let the meat speak for itself, and serves the sauce on the side. And the definition of true love is when hubby offered me a taste of his peanut butter pie. Oh my goodness!!
