I called in on Friday and was told to go plates are $15 and the buffet is $16. That seems odd. My father doesn't eat much and wanted a little meal but not really justified unless he gets the buffet. But he eats like a bird so buffet is not good either for him. Hope this helps.
Best fried rice I've ever had for the buffet was warm and hot at all times keep it at 2:00 p.m.

My oldest kiddo wanted to go here for her birthday, best decision ever. The food is kept fresh on the buffet, the servers were always quick with a drink refill, and I'm going to brag on their green beans because they are honestly the best I've ever eaten, no clue how they prepare them, but they are so so so good!

Such an amazing place to eat at. Very family friendly and amazing food with so many options. Food is constantly being brought out fresh to eat and ready to serve. The servers are always checking in and so sweet. Love this place! This is definitely my go to when I want a bite to eat!

I like Sichuan style Chinese food, i.e. hot and spicy 😋. Unfortunately for me, that seems to be very hard to find in the South. To me, the food was cooked well, but bland. There was a lot of noise from the kitchen.

We take our whole staff from Dinosaur Adventure Land in Lenox to eat here every few Sundays. Great food. Great service! They let us leave brochures about our creation science ministry by the cash register. Come visit. It's free.
everything was cold and they weren’t putting out anymore food as it was running out. only one worker in the place as well. insanely quiet and could hear a pin drop. do not waste your money here.

Restaurantji Recommends
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time. I have several food restrictions due to having chronic daily migraines and being a pescatarian. The young man up front was incredibly gracious, personable, and helpful. He even insisted on calling back to the kitchen to confirm that my food could be made without my migraine triggers, which I wouldn’t have asked them to do. I haven’t experienced such wonderful customer service in a very long time, and the food was delicious! I can’t wait to return.
Sadly, upon my return I encountered different staff who were quite rude despite my not needing to ask any questions on 2nd visit. Food was still decent.

I recently visited the New China Buffet in Brewton, Alabama, and I must say, the experience was far from satisfactory.
The most concerning issue was the lack of hygiene. On one occasion, I witnessed a worker scraping food off the bar and back into the serving dish that the public was eating from. This is not only unappetizing but also raises serious health concerns.
Additionally, our waiter was seen using the restroom and returning to work without washing his hands. This is a basic hygiene practice that should be followed by all restaurant staff, and it was disheartening to see it neglected.
As for the food, it was subpar at best. The quality was reminiscent of frozen food from a supermarket, lacking the freshness and flavor one would expect from a buffet. It felt as if we had visited the frozen food section of Walmart rather than a restaurant.
The dessert bar was another disappointment. It consisted of off-brand Little Debbie cakes that were cut up and served. This felt like a shortcut and lacked the creativity and effort one would expect from a restaurant dessert offering. Our drinks were refilled only once, and we had to hunt the waiter down for that. Plates were cleared only once as well.
In conclusion, my experience at the New China Buffet was disappointing. The lack of hygiene, poor food quality, and uninspiring dessert selection significantly detracted from the dining experience. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and implements necessary changes to improve their service.
