My husband had the chicken parmesan and he totally loved it. My son and I both had pizzas and the toppings were fresh, sauce is amazing and the bread is tasty. Even my son loved his crusts - which is a first. I even caught my husband stealing one of my crusts I was saving.

The service was awesome and we were seated quickly. Everyone was very friendly. We live in Alabaster and we keep forgetting about Bertelones but we won't now. We will definitely be back.

The lasagna was the memorable. Tomato basil soup and minestrone soup are outstanding. The homemade fresh-from-scratch quality makes this the ultimate comfort food place to go. I can continue to rave about the service and other dishes, but 5 stars say it all. This is a spacious restaurant with space between tables to have privacy. Diners are at ease wiithout people crowding over your table waiting for a table. As a finishing touch i bought a box of apricot thumbprint cookies and a box of chocolate chip cookies--definitely home-baked.

5 stars across the board for this restraunt, always good food and service, but even better they include gluten free options! As someone with celiac disease it's very much appreciated!

Today was our first time eating here. We are from Montgomery and we’re passing through on our way to Birmingham. The food, service and hospitality was outstanding! We will definitely drive the distance again and again to eat here! The dipping oil was amazing! My husband got the ravioli which he loved. My son and MIL got the pizza and said it was great! (I tasted it and it was!). My FIL got the lasagna and said it was the beat he has ever had! I got the Capellini Pomodoro, which is my absolute favorite, it was *Chefs Kiss*!!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!! Next time I’m trying the tiramisu!!!

Enjoyed eating here! Service and restaurant was really good. If you love real Italian food definitely recommend. Not a chain restaurant and locally owned. Located right off the interstate off 65on the north side of interstate in Celera, Ala.

GREAT EVENING

Wonderful Friday night with my husband, our entrees were really good. The salad was lacking in substance. The salad needed, cucumbers, onions, I had one grape tomato. Otherwise the Chicken Parm, and Lasagna were so good

EXCELLENT!!! We have had Italian food in Italy, New York, Chicago, New Orleans, and all points in between, and the food at Bertolone's is easily one of the very best! From the delicious dipping oil and bread to the lasagna, meatballs and spaghetti, and the triple chocolate cake (made in-house), it is absolutely delicious!!!! The atmosphere is casual, and it is at the end of a strip mall, but it is still well kept. So, if you are anywhere near Calera, Alabama south of Birmingham, do yourself a favor and go eat at Bertolone's!

P.S. We bought 2 bottles of their dipping oil to take with us as well!
