“We stopped here to eat before going to Polar Express in Calera....definitely a great decision! Never heard of it before but it was close so we gave it a shot. Casual and bar type atmosphere, pool tables, and great tasting food! I recommend the Avocado Chicken (fried) and the fries are AWESOME! We will make a special trip from Blount county to come back!”

“I have a mixed review. The Crab Rangoon and Hot/Sour soup were excellent; hot and fresh. Bang Bang chicken and egg rolls were cold. I ordered takeout in person at the restaurant at 11:10 am shortly after opening. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet I was told it would take 15 minutes. That’s standard for all takeout orders so no problem. However, with the wait I expected EVERYTHING to be hot and fresh. To end on a positive note, the flavor of everything was good, even the cold items once heated. 2 egg rolls, bang bang chicken appetizer, hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon (5) totaled $32…a little pricey for a Chinese lunch.”

“This was an amazing chick fil a! Bathrooms were clean, food was amazing!!!! Service was phenomenal, employees were very helpful. Staff always checked on us and was so helpful. Atomsphere was generic which was fine for a chick fil a. Play place did smell a little of feet. Food was delicious perfectly made, they genuinely know how to cook! Besides that this chick fil a was amazing definitely 5 stars and worth stopping!”

“We go to this location as often as we can. Never had a bad experience. Food is always consistent and good. The staff greet everyone that comes in and even know thr names of their regulars. Always lively atmosphere with great team work all around. Wish I could give 10 stars!!”

“The last two years, all the Milo locations I’ve visited have really gone downhill. Nothing like the previous decades. Shame! Staff at Calera was non responsive. Cahaba heights , burgers were dried out like they had been sitting and fries as well. Sorry to say that too many of this experience for me to go back.”

“Welcome to Subway in Calera, Alabama! This is a local sandwich shop that you can visit to make your own sandwich, their ingredients, your masterpiece.

Food: Need I say more? You can literally create your own sandwich with their own ingredients. Personally, I've always gone, the Italian B.M.T ( might be a different name now).

Service: It's subway, so the service isn't spectacular but it's not that bad, you get your food in and go out feeling all full, at least you hope, there wasn't no customers when I was at this location so maybe I just went in at a good time.

Atmosphere: The interior has definitely changed over the years and is pretty bland to me now, Subway needs to change up some things like a Freestyle coke machine (this location doesn't have it) , where you can pick up to a variety of different drinks and add flavors to them (cherry, grape, etc.)

Overall, not bad but anything special, visit at your own convenience. If you have Subway coupons, they are a must as they save you a lil on money, it helps in the long run! 😎”

“Traveling through Alabama and stopped in town for the night. We decided to give this place a blind try. Mongolian special was fantastic, was told the Cashew Chicken and Garlic chicken were also very good. Egg drop soup was delicious. The chicken egg rolls with their made in house hot mustard were some of the best I have ever had.
My only complaint, and this is just personal preference, is the crab rangoon were more sweet then crab/onion tasting. Best Chinese food I have had in years.”

“generally we had a good experience. food was good. the new York strip steak was surprisingly good, cooked right, juicy and well seasoned. Madison was terrific service wise. I did note a number of deficiencies at the management level. we had to wait about 10 min. for my wife's decaf coffee, none was ready. also had to wait until almost the end of our dinner for biscuits, none were ready on time. I was very disappointed that the only sugar free drink options were Coke Zero and sugar free Coke. there were sprite and Dr. Pepper available, but not sugar free. used to have sugar free bottled root beer, but no longer. also used to have NSA apple pie, but no longer and no other options. all of these things mean a lot to a diabetic. Madison tried her best and did great, especially when my Coke Zero had a strange taste to it, she got me a sugar free right away. CB has succeeded in removing a lot of the reasons I ate there. you'll always have my wife because of the biscuits, unless your kitchen organizer doesn't have them on hand.”
