“I have a mixed review. The Crab Rangoon and Hot/Sour soup were excellent; hot and fresh. Bang Bang chicken and egg rolls were cold. I ordered takeout in person at the restaurant at 11:10 am shortly after opening. The restaurant wasn’t busy, yet I was told it would take 15 minutes. That’s standard for all takeout orders so no problem. However, with the wait I expected EVERYTHING to be hot and fresh. To end on a positive note, the flavor of everything was good, even the cold items once heated. 2 egg rolls, bang bang chicken appetizer, hot and sour soup and crab Rangoon (5) totaled $32…a little pricey for a Chinese lunch.“

“I'm a truck driver and was by calera and tried this place out. Best decision ever! Got the Hibachi Steak lunch special. It was delicious and they didn't skimp on the steak! Will definitely go back the next time I'm in the area.“

“We ate here over the weekend and it was very good! The food was prepared to order so it was hot and fresh, and the lady that took our order was very friendly. It is also priced great! The Mongolian delight had a wonderful flavor and they give you large portion sizes. The vegetable egg roll wasn’t my favorite but it was still good. next time I will try the chicken egg roll though. The sesame chicken was good, wasn’t spicy at all. I wish the sesame sauce was a little sweeter but that’s just a personal preference. I will definitely order it again! What I loved most about the sesame chicken was that it wasn’t too crunchy or soggy. It was cooked perfectly. And the rice is fantastic, plus you get a lot of it! We will most certainly be going back!“

“This is our favorite place to eat in Columbiana. You won’t find nicer people in the restaurant business! Their food is always fresh delicious. Sushi is great, entrees are great, soup is great! We normally eat in, but it is great to-go as well!“

“The egg rolls are our favorite of any we have had elsewhere. The service is good and we always feel welcome. It’s our first choice for Chinese/Thai food.

Kid-friendliness: Our grand children always find things they enjoy. Ages 8, 13, 15 and 18. One thing I particularly like is that the noise/music is not so loud. You can have a conversation while enjoying your meal.“

“We had a wonderful first time experience at Kiku Express in Alabaster. The food was amazing. We each had a different version of teriyaki but man it was so good. We had plenty of leftovers as well. The dumplings were my favorite. The staff were so nice as well! We will be back.“

“China Garden is a gem ?!! We stayed at the Hilton next door to China Garden and walked 30 minutes prior to closing.
They were happy to serve us. The restaurant was clean and there was a FULL variety of foods to eat. Every item I had was delicious! Prices were very accommodating as well. I highly recommend!! Thank you for serving us China Garden ?? ?“

“Parking: The food here is so very delicious! I got shrimp with vegetables Crab Rangoon and sweet and sour chicken. We were very satisfied. I live in Birmingham but nothing I’ve found in Birmingham comes close to being half as good as this food. When I have a taste for Chinese food I’d rather drive the distance here to Alabaster for the tasty quality I find here. I highly recommend this restaurant!“

“Our first time eating at Bamboo Garden and we were pleasantly surprised. When we arrived at 6:45 on Wednesday evening, we were the only diners in the restaurant. That concerned me a bit but a couple of others came in shortly after we arrived. We ordered Sesame Chicken and Sezchuan Chicken with fried rice. Both were very good and were served quickly. Food quality and quantity were excellent. We would definitely return. However, since we live in Pelham, we'll probably stick with our favorite Asian restaurant - Golden City. Bamboo Garden is a good choice if you live or work in the Alabaster area.“

“If you have never had Sa Cha Beef or Sa Cha Shrimp then you have been missing out! It’s a perfect dish for lovers or spicy, savory food with a hearty portion of veggies. Yum! The sauce will leave you blown away like nothing that you have ever experienced before. It comes with fried or steamed rice and an egg roll. This place is amazing! The food is always fresh and fast. Dine in is great as you feel the dining room is your own personal experience. This place does mostly take out but has a full dining room. Don’t be fooled by the name “Green China”. This place is traditional and casual. No salads here lol! Just great people with great food at an affordable price!“

“Been visiting here on and off for a few years now, back when it was renovated we really liked how modern it looked. Nice and airy, nice cushy seats too. Food then was typical of Panda Express which is a good thing. Never had white rice that was undercooked. On our recent visit, the food tasted really good. They must have gotten a new cook or a recipe changed. Restrooms are clean too.“
