“This is a cozy place that I've enjoyed off and on for many years, the food is skewed towards Chinese-American classics, and that's perfectly fine! They have dishes you'll find in many places, like Mongolian beef (my hands-down favorite), Hunan style stir fry, beef and broccoli, etc. As well as some classic Chinese-American dishes you don't see as often in 2026 like mei-fun and egg foo young.

I haven't yet had anything that was less than good, and in the current economy I'm shocked at how reasonable their prices are. It's real food, in a comfy, nostalgic setting for less than the price of a combo meal at a fast food place. They are a true Mom-and-Pop setup with limited staff, so occasionally there can be a wait, but it feels like a small price to pay and a part of the real-world charm of a small restaurant. In recent years a pivot to mainly online/takeout ordering seems to be doing well for them, but they're just as happy to have you inside.

I promise, if you choose to spend your lunch breaks and money here you'll realize why there's so much nostalgia for these once ubiquitous small-town Chinese restaurants.“

“My family and I got wings and fried rice. I got plain wings. We also got buffalo wings, beef fried rice and shrimp fried rice and 2 egg rolls! The wings were not my favorite I’ll be honest they tasted way too much like chicken not sure if it wasn’t fresh that day or what. But the fried rice was out of this world amazing!!! “Awesome food i would say best value for the food. Been eating here for 15 years or more and never had an issue. Girl up front is a little testy but other than that highly recommend. This is more of a takeout restaurant but they have I think 6 or 7 tables. Never seen more than three taken up.“

Staff were super friendly, food was delicious and the portions were huge (for me). An added bonus was kids bantering in our language in the background. 5/5 Made us feel like home. Thank you!“

“It is the best Chinese food in the Trussville area period. There is a lot of bad Chinese food in the state north of Montgomery. It took a lot of trial and error to finally find LQ Asian. Hot and fresh. Ready 15 minutes from calling the order in. All the other places need to step their game up.“

“I haven't been here in a while but I'm glad I went back. My wife and I ordered the Happy Family and Sesame chicken and one egg roll. Happy Family was loaded with seafood and plenty of veggies with it. Sesame chicken was fried crispy and was great. Both dinners and egg roll with water to drink a little over $31.00 and we almost filled up a small go plate with leftovers. Will be going back soon!“
