“Lunch has a buffet. Dinner is takeout only. It takes about 15 minutes to make an order and walk out the door. You can order and pay online. Food is not kept under warming lights, so pick up on time or food may get cold. I love their chicken fried rice. The Triple Delight is also good. I do not recommend the Japanese Teriyaki Chicken. It's nothing like the Japanese restaurant. It's very "Chinese-style", in a sauce with green pepper and onion, and tastes only like green pepper.“

“Food tastes freshly cooked, prices are very fair. The portions could be larger but the quality is significantly better than anywhere else I've been so I'm fine with it. Less than $12 for lunch and a large drink is better than a fast food restraunt and much better.“

“I’ve been eating here for over 30yrs they were at a different location (take out only) up the street. The food has always been great. I have never had a bad meal from them. They are a Birmingham staple. Those who know, know. I drive from McCalla for my take away now. We drove from Hueytown when I was a kid, bypassing many similar cuisine restaurants. “Everything here is amazing. I'm a child so I'm picky sometimes but I tried 6 new foods today and the results were awesome. The workers are so friendly and have a board of photos of customers who came to their last building, my family and I are on it because my family has been going even before I was born. Not a big restaurant, so the buffet isn't huge, but the food is fresh, more so than larger restaurants and it's just better than any Asian buffet in Hoover, Pelham, Alabaster, Bessemer, Irondale...I can't think of any Asian place around Birmingham that has better food, buffet or not. Plus, they (Wok On In) also have some Hawaiian items on their menu. I haven't tried them yet, but I will. My wife and son say that it's the best Asian food around, too. Best orange chicken, best lo mein, best sweet & sour chicken, best fried spring rolls, best fried pork dumplings, best hot & sour soup, best mongolian beef, best kung pao chicken, and more. Just can't say enough good about this place. Love it. Also, plenty of parking and clean establishment, restrooms...etc.“

“I will never order from this place due to the lack of customer service skills these people have. I have ordered here multiple times with white rice missing from my order. When I call up to inform them that my rice is missing, I am always told to bring my food back up to store and “we will give you white rice”. Well there is a problem with that when I live 30 minutes away, my entire order is going to be cold at that point. They refuse to replace the entire order and do it correctly so all the food will be hot. It seems like this place is ok with screw ups and not doing the right thing. Every order that I place is a minimum of $60. If you are ok with losing a customer, I am ok not ordering from here.“

“I have been eating here for the last four years whenever I come to the Alabama area. This restaurant, and their sister restaurants in Hoover and Montgomery, make incredible Salted Crispy Shrimp and Salted Crispy Chicken, among the best in the country. The prices are very reasionable and the staff are wonderful. Try one of these Salted Crispy dishes and you will come back again and again !“
