“Amazing coffee and food. We stopped in for breakfast and I had a croissant with ham, egg and cheese with a Black Forest (mocha & coconut) iced coffee. The staff were friendly too! We actually came back in the afternoon and I tried the grilled cheese with basil tomato soup which was also excellent! We will definitely be back!”

“My 3 sisters and I stopped for lunch today on our way home from Guntersville. I had the chopped smoked chicken...absolutely delicious! The meat was so moist and tender. I even ordered "to go" to bring home. The service was great. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal!”

“I hate that my friend and I even bothered with another bar down the street first, cause this place was awesome. Just like any other dive bar you've been to, but a lil swankier. They allowed my buddy's dog in so that was nice of em. The drinks were STRONG (had 2 gin/tonics while there). They had pool tables, darts, a jukebox, etc. All of their regulars there were super friendly and the bartenders were a heck of a lot nicer than at the other bar we came from earlier.

The only real qualm I had was that they were closing at 7pm for the Easton Corbin concert, and my buddy and I couldn't find anything on Google or a sign outside that said they were beforehand. We went outside on their covered patio to wait for a friend once they closed while it rained so that wasn't so bad. All in all, I'd definitely go back, just during normal hours.”

“We have been here so many time over 9 years. Not sure what changed but as of July 2026. We have stood first in line for 15 minutes and never had anyone come to get our order. The drive through is bumper to bumper and seems to be their only concern. We came back today. It seems to be their only concern is drive through.. I am very disappointed in our Jacks Restaurant.”

“We stopped here to eat before going to Polar Express in Calera....definitely a great decision! Never heard of it before but it was close so we gave it a shot. Casual and bar type atmosphere, pool tables, and great tasting food! I recommend the Avocado Chicken (fried) and the fries are AWESOME! We will make a special trip from Blount county to come back!”

“I love this restaurant. The staff is very friendly, and the head cashier is even fluent in 3 languages. They're food is very delicious, and my favorites are Beef broccoli, Mongolian Beef, and tempura shrimp. They're portions are guaranteed to feed a family. You definitely get you're money's worth. “The last two years, all the Milo locations I’ve visited have really gone downhill. Nothing like the previous decades. Shame! Staff at Calera was non responsive. Cahaba heights , burgers were dried out like they had been sitting and fries as well. Sorry to say that too many of this experience for me to go back.”

“generally we had a good experience. food was good. the new York strip steak was surprisingly good, cooked right, juicy and well seasoned. Madison was terrific service wise. I did note a number of deficiencies at the management level. we had to wait about 10 min. for my wife's decaf coffee, none was ready. also had to wait until almost the end of our dinner for biscuits, none were ready on time. I was very disappointed that the only sugar free drink options were Coke Zero and sugar free Coke. there were sprite and Dr. Pepper available, but not sugar free. used to have sugar free bottled root beer, but no longer. also used to have NSA apple pie, but no longer and no other options. all of these things mean a lot to a diabetic. Madison tried her best and did great, especially when my Coke Zero had a strange taste to it, she got me a sugar free right away. CB has succeeded in removing a lot of the reasons I ate there. you'll always have my wife because of the biscuits, unless your kitchen organizer doesn't have them on hand.”

“Tahish i think was his name, im not too sure but he was the extremely kind Indian man who works there and my girlfriend accidentally knocked her salad off of the table and he was on break and saw it happen. we walked up to the register so i could buy her another one and he covered it for us and was just very kind about it. he did that without thinking twice about it and did so with grace. we need more people like him in the world. Thank you again sir!!!”

“I got lucky and hit them when it was quiet, so I was able to get my choice of table. Food was excellent as always. Service was friendly and on point.
Tables had been bussed, but there was obvious debris on several of them. Considering it was just after lunch, and only 2 on staff, I was impressed with the overall appearance of the place.”
