I ordered the breaded chicken sandwich with waffle buns, and it was a really solid, creative meal. The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right, and the waffles worked surprisingly well as the bread—warm, soft, and slightly sweet.
The flavors and concept were on point, and it was filling and satisfying overall. The only thing that held it back from a perfect score was that it didn’t include the honey glaze for the chicken, which would’ve really elevated the sandwich and tied everything together.
Still a great dish and definitely worth trying. I’d order it again—hopefully with that honey glaze next time.“

“I’m grateful to the staff here. It’s rare to find a gem like them. We come in once a week. They are great with my 10 year old special needs son. The customer service is above and beyond. The restaurant is always so clean. They treat us like family. Thank you management and staff for all you do. One young lady employee even visits with me to check and see how I’m doing. She encourages me and is a light of positivity. We love yall.“

“I’m only giving four stars overall because of the ordering system. The first time we ordered here, the AI system got our order wrong and we ended up paying about $5 extra because it added another burger to our order somehow. That’s the main flaw. I’m not even an AI hater, it just isn’t a good system to use when there are actual, very kind and capable people who can work the drive-thru point of sale system.
The drive-thru is also very small and people can easily get blocked in from accessing parking. This is due to the location, but I definitely think something can be done about the drive-thru.
BUT this last time I placed a mobile order, and it was great. The food is delicious and the fries are fresh. The employees are also very sweet and friendly and I have never had an issue with them, even when delivering with DoorDash.“

“stalls always closed, and they rely on the drive thru which is soooooooo slow and wrapped around the building. employees I've had contact with are super rude and have bad attitudes. ypu can't staff it, management is obviously poor, just do everyone a favor and shut it down“

“I walked in to place my order it was super busy, but I must say very friendly. The lady that took my order I think her name was Christine was very nice not only to me but the young folks in line before me. Service was exceptional.“

“The last two years, all the Milo locations I’ve visited have really gone downhill. Nothing like the previous decades. Shame! Staff at Calera was non responsive. Cahaba heights , burgers were dried out like they had been sitting and fries as well. Sorry to say that too many of this experience for me to go back.“
