“We had a group of 15 or so on 20 Feb/Friday night, we sat in the back room. Waitress was great, I didn't catch her names. I ordered shrimp tacos and my wife had the Shrimp Fajitas both had great flavor and plenty of shrimp. 1st time visiting this restaurant and it was fantastic. Service was good, plenty of chips and salsa, beverage service was great also.“

“Zapopan is truly one of Montevallo's hidden gems! My husband, kids, and I absolutely love eating here. The food is always delicious, hot, fresh, and ready when we arrive, which makes it so convenient for our family.

One thing we especially appreciate is that their prices are still very reasonable, making it a place we can enjoy without breaking the budget. The quality of the food and the friendly service keep us coming back time and time again.

When my server noticed I was trying to eat and feed my baby a bottle at the same time, he told me to eat, grabbed the bottle, and fed the baby for me. I’ve never had such a kind gesture happen from a server before. They go above and beyond for their patrons!“

“This place has the best fried Gordita. Much better Gordita than Gordos and Mi Pueblo... The tacos are delicious as well. One of the best Chorizo tacos I've had. The only thing to make this place perfect would be to have fresh tortillas, but I know fresh tortillas can be difficult to make for such a small place. I can't wait to come eat here again!“

“This was our first time visiting Casa Ortiz. We ordered the chips, salsa, cheese dip, shrimp fajitas with rice and beans. The service was friendly and fast, which we appreciated.

The restaurant has a more cozy, quiet atmosphere - there wasn’t any music playing - so it felt a little like you couldn’t talk much without everyone hearing, which may appeal to some but wasn’t quite our vibe.

Food-wise, the fajita vegetables had great flavor, and the rice was very fluffy and almost melted in your mouth. Unfortunately, the shrimp were rubbery and fairly flavorless.

Prices were a bit high for us, with all entrées starting around $13 and kids menu $8.99, so we likely would only return when lunch specials are served. That said, we wish them the absolute best and hope they continue to do well!“

I love Moe’s! Always have since it was a drill weekend tradition for my mother and I while she was in the military. We have been to our fair share of Moe’s locations and this Alabaster one has been the best one yet and continues to be so over the years. Excellent customer service and a very hard working crew. CORPORATE, you need to make sure you are taking GOOD care of these great people that choose to show up and enhance your brand with their labor, as I’m sure you know good help is hard to find in this day and age.“
