“Fantastic burria tacos right in Calera at the Citgo gas station! Off to the left hand side if you're facing the gas station from the main road (31), and at the intersection of 31 & 22. Delicious, fried on the flat top. I ordered mild, and this delicious au jus to dip the tacos into!!! Yummy!!!I highly recommend them!!!“
“ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this Mexican restaurant! They offer a vast menu of authentic Mexican dishes that you may not find at other locations. Their prices are amazingly reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get for every dish. The atmosphere is very quaint and calming. The manager and his staff are absolutely friendly, professional, and very attentive. The feeling this place gives me reminds me so much of the back home in San Diego, CA, especially the manager. This is a must try restaurant.“
“I come out to Alabama every once in a while for football games and this is the first time I’ve ever been here. The wait staff was very friendly and upbeat. Also it was the weekend before Halloween so a lot of them were dressed up and just having fun. I ordered a top shelf strawberry margarita and it was very good. Some places make it too sweet but this was great. I orders the Shrimp Fajitas and the were awesome! They came out sizzling and I was ready to eat. If I am ever in the area, I will come back.“
“First time eating here. Friendly staff.Great atmosphere. Food had great flavors. Queso was really good. I had the chicken and rice which also came with onion and bell peppers. They did not skimp on the chicken. There was plenty of food. I could have used more rice and less bell peppers but it was still delicious. Will definitely be there again.“
“My husband and I used to go there for date night 10-15 years ago at the old location. I hadn't been to the new one and was wondering if it had changed. It hasn't. Cheese dip was great, fajita quesadilla was great, and the Rita was fantastic!“
“Nothing feels better after a very productive meeting at work, then jetting off to eat here. Order the sopes and smother them with tons of green salsa. As for the burritos, they go best smothered with red salsa. The service is like lightning, so keep a moth-ear for your number.“
