“Best Mexican Restaurant to me ever.“

“I ate here for the 1st time a couple of nights ago (it is a food truck, not a sit down). GREAT Taco Birria, had 3 and was perfectly satisfied, and they were much better than the sit-down establishment behind them. Will definitely be going back to try out more menu items. I like supporting local places, too.“

“I highly recommend Taqueria Los Dos Compadres. It's one of my favorite restaurants. Food is delicious. The owner and staff are really friendly. Their menu has unique dishes that I didn't try before in other mexican restaurants. Food is not greasy, and it tastes a lot like home cooking.

“This institution of enterprise is wonderful. Upon my first visit I was doubtful to say the least, but looks can be deceiving. I chose the simplicity of a chicken enchilada to order, and most times I order that at other bureaus, it tastes underwhelming and quite comparable to each other. But this officialdom was able to twist the ways of bland and dull enchiladas. I am happy to announce this facility was not bland nor dull, and quite satisfactory at the least. All were well filled and surprising very hot and fresh even at this hour. I actually had to let them cool off after almost burning my mouth on the Al pastor. I will definitely be back to try some lengua/beef cheek tacos and would recommend this truck over a few others I’ve had in town!“

“This place doesn't look like much from the outside (ok, let's be honest, inside either), and a health score on a lower than confident end might be a bit of a deterrent as well to giving it a shot, but no question you'll get some fantastically-greasy, tasty food from here; I'm talkin' "feeling guilty after you eat it, and a little worried about your cholesterol levels" good. I mean, a place that stuffs French fries in an already fattening burrito has got some balls-balls... And speaking of such, my weapon of choice during my take-out visit was the California Burrito which, once I got home and settled, was freakin' delicious and a definite do-again the next time I'm hankerin' for just some flat-out Mexican street food.

We had the fajitas quesadilla and the burrito carnitas and they were both excellent — better than a number of places back home. “It might be that I'm from Cali and know better but...tacos are on corn tortillas not flour..and ceviche is fish and shrimp not just shrimp with no lime..cilantro or tomatoes..now the staff was awesome. They took well care of us..that is the only reason I gave it a 5..They had mariachi music play which made my 9month old granddaughter shake her tail feather on the table..sooo my experience was a love hate..“

“We were in Birmingham for an event and discovered iguana. The food and service were both great but a really nice bonus is the interior decor. Check out the pictures to see what we're getting at. Android auto couldn't find it using the restaurant name but did fine when we used the street address. We Liked it so much that we came back a second time while we were still in town.“
