When I was first looking at places before moving here, I came across this taco truck and it’s been a favorite ever since. If I don’t have much money, want a quick snack, or just need something before dinner I’m coming here.

The chicken tacos are always my go-to, and that green sauce is undefeated. For $3??? You really can’t beat it. It’s basically Taco Tuesday every day here.

The food is always fresh, flavorful, and consistent. I also love the location it’s right next to the gas station, so you can grab food and take care of what you need all in one stop.

I was never really a corn tortilla person (I always liked flour), but this place actually got me hooked on corn. That says a lot.
I usually get about 2-4 tacos and I’m good. I come here all the time and they’ve stayed consistent the entire time I’ve lived here.

I did try the street corn once because everyone in line was getting it, but it just wasn’t really for me I’ll stick to my tacos. I do wish they had shrimp tacos though, that would be a game changer.

Overall, I love this place. If you want good tacos and you’re hungry, you really can’t beat $3 tacos.“

“This institution of enterprise is wonderful. Upon my first visit I was doubtful to say the least, but looks can be deceiving. I chose the simplicity of a chicken enchilada to order, and most times I order that at other bureaus, it tastes underwhelming and quite comparable to each other. But this officialdom was able to twist the ways of bland and dull enchiladas. I am happy to announce this facility was not bland nor dull, and quite satisfactory at the least. “Maya is my go-to spot for Mexican food. They are fast & always provide great service, but this week they went above and beyond. When my server noticed I was trying to eat and feed my baby a bottle at the same time, he told me to eat, grabbed the bottle, and fed the baby for me. I’ve never had such a kind gesture happen from a server before. They go above and beyond for their patrons!“

“This restaurant has been decorated in a lovely, upscale manner. The service was excellent. Our drinks were kept filled without us asking. The chips were warm. Salsa was good. Loved the little carafe the salsa was served in. The guacamole was very fresh, and was some of the best I’ve ever eaten! The entree of enchiladas was so good, with very generous portions. Everyone needs to come out and support this place! I’d rather come here for FRESH food than go to other places. The service was also excellent. King and Queen Cantina is a great new option for Alabaster!“

“This was my first visit to Iguana Grill in Hoover. I ordered the Iguana’s Fajita, which included steak, chicken, and bacon-wrapped shrimp, along with rice, refried beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and tortillas. It was a generous meal with a variety of things to try.

The restaurant has a colorful interior, with hanging star lights and woven lamps throughout the dining area. Between the food and the distinctive setting, I’m glad I had the chance to try somewhere new.“
