“Absolutely amazing. They have the best tamales & everything honestly was amazing. & the food and the prices are amazing. My husband and I go literally a dinner that could fill up 6 people with no problem at all for $22.. the workers are amazing and so kind. I recommend this over any other Mexican restaurant around shelby County...“
“Nice little place on Main Street in Montevallo, Alabama. The food was very good and chips were ok and the salsa was very good. The salsa is a little spicy for those that don’t like it spicy be prepared. I had the number 29 the steak had good flavor a little overcooked. The shrimps were perfect loved the seasoning. The refried beans were so amazing. Overall the atmosphere is nice and their drink selection is very nice.“
“The girl at the window nyasha ( I hope i spelled it right because it deleted off my phone ?) but she was so nice! She told me my smile was so pretty and that made me night! i came super late but they all were so nice even the one who took my order! Loved it 10/10 Thanks so much “
“Very good tacos. Our favorite was the Pastor, followed by the Campechano and Asada. The seasoning on the meat was excellent. Some don't even need salt, but they do have salt available if you're in the mood. I really liked their tacos without even needing the sauce. If I was to give any constructive criticism, I would say the sauce could be improved to have a little more depth, the salsa verde and salsa roja were both pretty one note. Also their tortillas were just average, but I know it is hard to pull off great tortillas in a taco truck. Overall, very good tacos. We'll be back!“
“In a party of 25 often the service will be expectedly slower or just less but not here. The food was great, quick and polite service and just a great experience. Everyone said their margaritas were great, I wasn't drinking. Just give them a try, the salsa is great not hot but just spicy “
“Serving a variety of excellent street tacos which they are willing to kick up a notch by adding lettuce and cheese if you asked for it. The fish tacos are excellent as are the Tripas de Leche tacos and the Cabeza taco. Friendly, efficient and accommodating staff. Looking forward to my next visit Ed Búrquez“
“ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND this Mexican restaurant! They offer a vast menu of authentic Mexican dishes that you may not find at other locations. Their prices are amazingly reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get for every dish. The atmosphere is very quaint and calming. The manager and his staff are absolutely friendly, professional, and very attentive. The feeling this place gives me reminds me so much of the back home in San Diego, CA, especially the manager. This is a must try restaurant.“
“Love this place used to go a lot as kid now they have upgraded it a lot, and the atmosphere makes you feel like your in a very culturally aesthetic restaurant. The food is great and it was very quick. Will return and people should check it out it’s a gem.“
“First time at this location. The menu is similar to the larger Calera location. Food was good and consistent across both places. The only difference we felt was that the rice was not as good here. It was a bit on the plain side. However, the overall prices seemed less for a very similar experience. Would recommend.“
