“It’s nice to walk in, have the menu and you get to order your food, and go to your table. So it’s a different method of placing an order. Food is good, large portions, slightly salty, yet still delicious.Clean location. The outdoors and indoors are open into each other with the large windows opened up. Beautiful location.“
“I'm not the kind of guy that likes to eat the same thing twice in a row. I crave variety like it's sold on street corners, so believe it when I tell you this place is special. I've eaten the same dish for dinner twice in a row because it was just too good. (Cabeza burrito)It's got mostly the options you'd expect from a Taco truck, but some that stand out as novel, too. I've had most anything on a Mexican restaurant menu before, but I've never had Tlacoyos before. They look like tacos with the tortillas fried, in the picture; trust me, I'm gonna try them soon. I mean, my girlfriend is the type to call black pepper spicy, and googles the ingredients before they'll eat them, and she STILL got the lengua! Twice!Listen, I mean what is there to dislike about this place other than the parking? As of March 2024, it's situated near Maya, the Mexican restaurant on Oxmoor Rd, off Green Springs, in a lot that gets pretty crowded quick. An hour or less till closing and they're packed, so try to come a little earlier if you want to find parking. They're lightning fast in that truck! I had my burrito in less than 10 minutes, and some of that time was us ordering. Incredible food, very friendly staff, and a mostly convenient location. You're making a terrible mistake if you don't come get you some. ¡Buen provecho!Parking: Parking lot, but it's got a building that's being worked on, so it might look sketchy at first. Trust, it's fine. They are super worth the tight right turn.Kid-friendliness: There's no dining in, so kids are fine if they don't run into the road or something.Wheelchair accessibility: Fairly flat ground, no need for a ramp. The exits from the lot are doable, but they are quite a dip.“
“Great food, friendly staff.Every experience here is a good one. The portions are large and the prices can't be beat!Parking: Parking is typically easy to find here. We've been here for lunch and dinner times and never had any problems.Kid-friendliness: Very kids friendly. The servers are great with the kiddos and the kids meals are portioned perfectly.“
“We went here after a friend recommended it and had a great time! The cheese dip with chorizo is a MUST! The Al pastor tacos were also FULL of flavor and were very filling. We would definitely go back! It is a gem but not a hidden one, so make sure you get there early or after the rush on weekends! The Cadillac margarita was a big hit as well as the spicy mango frozen marg. I would definitely go back!“
“I quite enjoyed this place, but just had one issue. The staff were nice but there was only 2 for the entire restaurant, which was quite empty on a Thursday night. You are served a thing of tortilla chips and a spicy salsa.I had a steak with white rice, over easy egg and guacamole. I loved the guacamole, it was seasoned perfectly and creamy. The over easy egg was done perfectly and the white rice was great! The steak could have been really good but I asked for medium and it was well done, so it was tough, the flavors were good though. The paella valanceaga was pretty good! It's not a typical paella but a rice made and then added in meat like shrimp, squid, octopus, green mussels, and sausage. The rice had some spiciness to it that reminded me of a seafood seasoning, overall it was quite delicious! As for the drinks I had the lime frozen margarita and it was delicous!I definitely recommend trying this place out if you want to try some more of the authentic Latino and Peruvian dishes.Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is accessible by wheelchair.“
“Me and my boyfriend came across this hole in the wall trying to find something to eat late night and let me tell you THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT... we have the Birria Tacos and an Al Pastor quesadilla. DELICIOUS!!! Waiter was awesome super attentive. Would definitely recommend if you're in the mood for some great tacos.“
“The wife and I were just out with the grand baby and found ourselves. In front of them. I've eaten there b4, but have not been back in a looooooong time. And you know how it gets, when a place has been there 4ever. Things start slip. The quality my go down. Not here if anything, it was better than I remembered. I had the Nochos. Wish I had taken a picture but, There was a hefty portion. That I devoured. The wake had her standard chicken quesadilla. That she ate the whole thing. Normally, she doesn't. But she had to love it to do that. Can't recommend them enough.“
“I think his name was Felix, he was the guy behind the bar and serving tables last night. This guy is absolutely amazing he is what's going to make this company succeed. These people like him and his generosity and courteousness and his kindness, he really was something special and I'm really glad I had the opportunity to run into him“
