“Best ceviche I have ever had - and I’m from a costal state where it’s very popular. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was awesome! I had the Masa Custed Trout - 10 out of 10!! My son had Barbaccoa quesadilla, it was great too! Little one had a bacon quesadilla he ate ALL of it shocking for put 9 yo! Seriously though, go! You won’t regret it!!“

To me , some of the side items on the menu are overpriced but otherwise a great experience. Our first time back since they moved to the main Street in Homewood. We got the nachos for an appetizer for five of us and it was really big, I think it could be shared with even more . We also got their guacamole, it won't disappoint, delicious !“

“Swung by this place around 9pm and was throughly impressed! I ordered 3 tacos (carnitas, Al pastor, campechano) and they were fantastic. All were well filled and surprising very hot and fresh even at this hour. I actually had to let them cool off after almost burning my mouth on the Al pastor. I will definitely be back to try some lengua/beef cheek tacos and would recommend this truck over a few others I’ve had in town!“

Some of the meals we had included pork carnitas (ONLY place my husband will order them now that Fronterra - sister restaurant- is closed), chicken quesadilla (delicious w/perfectly cooked & seasoned chicken), chicken chimichanga (also perfectly cooked), tacos al carbone (FIL's favorite along with carnitas), & beef tacos & burrito (A+ according to MIL). The salsa (regular & spicy green), cheese dip, & guacamole are all terrific, too.If you love Mexican food (Americanized), Habaneros is always a great choice.“

Parking: There was plenty of parking. The restaurant is located near a Plaza so I didn't have any trouble . The area was lit so it I felt safe going to my car.“

The chicken was shredded thoroughly and was tender and juicy with a hint of pepper heat , with only sparse pieces mingled in the filling.The prices for the lunch special were reasonable. I believe that this dish, which comes with rice and beans, is usually covered in cheese alone, though they happily added tomatoes for me. The cashier served me and another couple who ate in, and several customers picked up lunch orders. I believe the chandeliers must be remnants of the old Hickory House that originally occupied that building as they clash a bit aesthetically with the heavy and brightly painted ,carved furniture. The bench sit was very comfortable. The large space filled with light. But there seemed to be a bit of a cold draft nearest the windows. It's hard to tell, though, as the ceiling fans were still all running on high up in the high ceiling . I was especially pleased with the flavorful rice as it is the first I've ever had at any Mexican restaurant that was spiced/tomato sauced heavy enough. Overall, I believe I will visit again when in the area.“
