“Went to a food truck near the Galleria on John Hawkins and was told there was something wrong with the grill but come to find out the girl just didn’t want to cook in the heat for a small order. “Food is consistently good. The brisket is always fantastic. The service can be a little hit or miss, but never terrible. Parking can be difficult at busy times but it’s in a pretty happening area. Margaritas are fresh squeezed and not made with a mix so they’re pretty tasty. Nice patio area when the weather is nice.“

Do not be fooled by the low prices - this is high-quality, fresh food you will love. Also don't be scared by some of the more exotic choices on the menu. My favorite taco is tripa (cow intestine) which I avoided for years because I wasn't comfortable with the idea of eating it. What a mistake that was! Dos Hermanos is amazing. Don't miss it.“
“This was like the fourth taco place I drove to on a Monday night and it was the only one open. I’ve driven by this place a lot and never gotten food here. I’m so glad I did! Service was amazing and fast. I got three tacos for under $10. The flavor was better than the surrounding taco trucks. I will be coming back! I'm currently starting to get sick and figured I needed a pick me up, I am more than happy that I chose to order from here. The soup tasted just like how my mother made it. I was honestly close to crying, now is it the most complex thing ever? No. But it's a simple dish that, when done well, can heal a thousand wounds. “Tacos El Guero is a food truck that sits in a Shell gas station. The service is a bit slow and a bit impersonal, but the food more than makes up for it.I chose three tacos and the total was just a bit over nine dollars after these and all. I went with a campechano taco, an asada taco and a carnitas taco. The campechano taco was by far my favorite. The carnitas taco would probably get my second choice and then the asada taco. But do not misunderstand, they all were excellent tacos.They also had a few tables under a tent of you want to dine there. Not the biggest ambiance, but it works. Since it was a chilly night in December, I ended up eating my feast in my car.This is a solid choice if you are craving some good Mexican food.I would definitely recommend this Mexican food truck and they definitely earned my recommendation. I will give here five stars overall.“

“Favorite spot for Carnitas and Spinach Fajitas (so good that we seldom venture beyond our favorite dishes). Friendly family atmosphere although usually have some sports events on the screens. Food is delivered to table hot and in record time (seriously, you won't find a quicker time from order to eating). Also, very thankful for ability to substitute black bean frijoles. Portions and prices are both very reasonable; usually leave full and with a take-away box.“
“My Attorney boss and I tried this location for the first time. Sat-out on the patio, fantastic weather! Atmosphere great, bartender made the best skinny margarita!!We both ordered Taco baskets- boss got rednecker basket with refried beans and I ordered one chessybeef and one rednecker with queso.Be sure to park on the side by Edgar’s if you go at lunch! Hot and fresh and authentic best tacos I've had in Birmingham and coming from Houston after living there 10 years I love tacos and not just on Tuesday but everyday and this place is great no gimmicks just good food and the people working there are very nice the owners son always has a smile on his face and friendly as is everyone else there. I will definitely be back again I've already been 2 times in 2 days and might be back tomorrow if time permits. Unfortunately these guys aren't on Doordash or Uber eats because the owner doesn't want to do it but he should at least give it a try because the food is good but everybody isn't able to get to the restaurant to come try the delicious food.“
“We gave Casa Festa a try in our search for the best Mexican restaurant in Trussville, and it was very good. My wife had the steak fajita quesadilla and she really liked it. I ordered the shrimp, chicken, beef fajitas. It was very good, but l liked the taste of fajitas at Habaneros a bit better. “The food here was very good. I had the pork in salsa Verde (green sauce). The pork was tender and delicious. My son had the chicken quesadilla which was prepared perfectly. He enjoyed a margarita which I tasted and it was very good. The service was good and the food came to the table quickly. The pork was so good but I might be tempted to get a quesadilla next time. Salsa is little spicy but that fine with me, it was great once food came, now the chips was a little thick for us but don't let that scare you away. The shrimp quesadilla was great big shrimp and flavor, got also cheese dip it was good has a little different kick to it then the plain Jane dip, also ordered seafood soup, now it was really good, kinda remind ya of a Mexican style gumbo . Got a combo 17 nothing great or bad about it, just basic beef items, the waitress asked if we wanted to get dessert never had a Mexican restaurant ask about it so we ordered waitress said their flan is very good so that what we ordered. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, where the streak is chopped into pieces mixed in with the veggies. Everything I have had on their menue is really good. In addition to steak fajitas, the steak burrito is terrific. They have the best salsa. The menue has the best bang for the buck. I highly recommend you give it a try. The only thing missing is fresh lemon as they only have limes.Parking: Depending on the time of day, the parking lot can be pretty full.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps to enter the building, and dining is all on one level. There are plenty of seating options with tables and chairs that should accomadeate a wheelchair based on my observations.“
“Fast and friendly! My favorite taco truck! I only order birria meat with everything I get. I've tried the chicken, it was good.... Nothing compares to the stewed birria meat, you must have the soup from it on the side as a dip, or just drink it.... Lots of limes, radishes, and cucumber.... Cilantro and onion come on as a garnish for several items. I only hate that they can't sell their beverages because of the gas station rules. You have to have Agua frescas! Check 'em out!“
“The tacos, omg!! The best tacos I’ve ever had. It’s soooo so yummy! They have cabeza, lengua, and then also your regular tacos like chicken, al pastor, carne asada, carnitas, and so on. I’m telling you. These are some of the best tacos around. It’s so flavorful and spicy! The green sauce and red sauce are so good. They make the tacos fire, if you’re into spicy food. I always get a jarritos drink to go with my meal too. Wow, so good! 10/10.The only down side is that it’s a small area for sitting down, so if you come at lunch time, it gets pretty full. There’s also a little shop attached to the restaurant, where you can shop for some Latino goods. I get my hot sauces here. I love this place! Truly a hidden gem!! “This place is a gem, it's not the cheapest restaurant in town but is one of the best value for money . They take pride in serving local organic food and will happily tweak dishes to suit your taste, allergies etc. We started with the quiche and a "bit of salad" which included mango, pomegranate, beetroot, peppers, avacado to name but a few. The result was amazing. My main course was strips of tuna served on asparagus with green beans and potatoes topped with a poached egg. I have stopped eating tuna in UK restaurants after some bad meals but this reminded me how good it can be. Being greedy we finished off with the famous chocolate brownie.
