“We went here on a whim after going to a friend’s wedding shower at Pepper place and we were so glad that we decided to stay out! This bar is super cute and has a great vibe. The drink menu routinely rotates to be themed around a different part of the world. When we went, the theme was “Arabian Nights” and the drinks we had were amazing. We were tempted to get something to eat from their food truck, but after just having eaten at the shower we decided against it. We WILL be back to try drinks from the next menu and to try their food! Don’t skip out on this trendy and gay-friendly new bar!“

“UPDATE 2/18/24: I've been to Umami at least 20 times since my first review, and have never had a meal I consider less than excellent. The sushi is creative and tasty, the ramen is very good and service is consistently fast and friendly. I've had lots of dishes and the food does not disappoint. The cocktails are very good too. “So so neat and unique! Definitely a quirky place but everyone's extremely friendly and helpful. I feel like they really love their job. The womb room is a must see if it's available. Just ask your server or bartender to see it. Drinks were pricey and small. Will return!“
“Food is consistently good. The brisket is always fantastic. The service can be a little hit or miss, but never terrible. Parking can be difficult at busy times but it’s in a pretty happening area. Margaritas are fresh squeezed and not made with a mix so they’re pretty tasty. Nice patio area when the weather is nice.“
“I just moved here and me and my wife wanted to try something new to us in the area and we came here. We were greeted quickly and seated right away. They took our drink order and brought us chips and salsa with the drinks. We ordered a cheese dip and it came out instantly. Placed our order, my wife got the pick 2, she chose the chicken quesadilla and a chile relleno, which came with rice and beans. I got the Quesabirria (birria quesadilla,) both entrees came out quickly and were very good. I would go back.“

“My 1st time visiting here, went with cousins, we all had a great time. It’s very beautiful inside & out back. Totally exceeded my expectations especially in decor. Bartenders were nice but the drinks are very small. I don’t like having to pay average prices for a tiny cup. The music & sound system was excellent! Security had great presence throughout. The later it gets, the younger the crowd gets. I love the pool & beautiful led lights thru out. Spacious.“

“I went here last night for a work event and it’s probably the 4-5th time I’ve been. It’s a hit every time! The drinks are always delicious and well-balanced. The food is a level-up from bar food too. You have to try the sweet potato waffle fries and the jalapeño gochujang wings!!Also, atmosphere is too notch. “This bar is located smack dab in the middle of the Pizitz food hall. It has ample seating, plugs along the perimeter, and the bartenders are cool. I like to come here to co-work since it's an ideal spot to also grab lunch and have meetings. They also have pretty awesome happy hour specials, the margarita is my fav. They also name drinks after loal biz owners sometimes, I loved the Jacqui Jones.“
