I went to The Margaret with a small group of friends on a Tuesday evening. Immediately when you walk in, it feels like you've stepped away from Alabama, which I love. It feels like an escape from the everyday. The couches, chandeliers, and funky chairs added to the overall ambiance. I didn't order any of their specialty cocktails, but several sounded delicious. SIPS ABOUT TO GO DOWN! Looking for a spot to have a quiet drink with some friends, on a weekday, the Margaret is the spot for you. Located in down town Birmingham, right up the street from some of the best restaurants in town. The Margaret is a New Orleans style/themed bar which has tons of character and charm. Last Saturday was our first time at The Margaret. Had a blast! The entire atmosphere was perfect. Sat at the bar. The service was amazing and the drinks were delicious. Will be returning again and highly recommend. (Not sure if they serve food but also, we didn't ask for a food menu.)
