“This was our first time and it was absolutely excellent from start to finish! The manager, Brandon, was SO genuinely welcoming and accommodating. Our server, Parker, was flawless and so much fun (request him!). Every dish was perfectly cooked, refined and full of flavor (smoked salmon, fried green tomatoes, fried oysters, rainbow trout, swordfish with andouille, ribeye with truffle fondue). The cocktails and wine all perfect. Will definitely return and want to thank Blueprint for a truly wonderful experience!“
“In town visiting and decided to try this place. Glad I did, because from the service, to the food, and atmosphere, it exceeded expectations. Krystal took our orders and although I have no dietary restrictions, my friend was ordering for his wife and was very happy that they were able to accommodate with items being gluten free. Especially on Tuesdays. Will definitely return and visit.Ordered the hot chicken and waffles. You’re able to substitute the wings for tenders. Waffle had flavor by itself and the fresh warm peaches with house made butter complimented each other very well.“
“Oak House is a great restaurant. I had the sea bass at it was fantastic. Beautiful presentation and d delicious. We shared the Nawlins shrimp again beautiful presentation and oh my soooo good. Order extra bread to dip the sauce because It is so good. The waiter was very attractive and friendly. He also knew everything on the menu and could describe them to make you hungry.“

“just made my fourth profit withdrawal with Mr Ralph Carico, his team were very responsive when it came to questions or concerns as a first time trader, He’s the right one here with his help I was able to get profit, The process was very smooth, Thank you Ralph Carico“
“Our waitress is super friendly and made us feel at comfort when it was our 1st time in Alabama and at Mudtown.I hardly eat fried pickles but Mudtown's fried pickles is beyond DELICIOUS!!! Fresh, crunchy and seasoned just right--LOVE IT!! The Shrimp and grits is really good. I went all out and got warm chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream drizzle with chocolate fudge syrup-- spectacular!! Definitely wouldn't mind coming back again!“
“We have had our company party here for the last couple of years. We have 20 seated in their party room. A little cramped but still workable for all those folks. Food and service has been outstanding!! Any food choice will be above average but the Apple beignets are a must have and truly special.“
“I had the goat pepper soup with fufu and it was incredible. The meat was falling off the bone and the sauce was so thick and full of well blended spices it reminded me of a curry. Hearty portions and excellent service. 10/10 - thank you Sahani Kitchen! ?“
“We were told that the best burger in Birmingham is made at Back Forty. We were not, however, told about all of their amazing beers. Or the great restaurant/outdoor area. Or the fantastic service and friendly servers/cooks. This is one of the must-dine locations in BHAM.“
“I absolutely adore UC the food is amazing and the staff is superb. I visit this location frequently and the only negative is when you walk in there its an odor not sure what it is from but there is one that is strong…you can smell it when you walk in the door and it never goes away. Other than that i would have given the atmosphere 5 stars“
“first time there today and I'm sad that I'm just now discovering this place. Liz and Jodi were so sweet and helpful. my drink and breakfast burrito were amazing. and the whole atmosphere of the place is very cool. i work from home a lot but will definitely bring my laptop up here soon.“
“We recently had an anniversary party at The Wine Loft and it was so wonderful! We had our wedding reception there 10 years ago, so we were excited to host another event at The Wine Loft. The whole team worked hard to make it a successful event (especially Kristin). We hope to be back in another 10 years :)“
“I was in town for a concert . My initial choice (traditional American)was full and my belly couldn’t wait any longer . So we turned the corner and found this little gem . The service was a walk through the flavor profile of each meat … which I ended up getting all three . The Jasmine rice with the little burnt pieces add the much missing flavour in many dishes . The chicken , steak or the lamb you can not go wrong . A must if you’re down town or anywhere for that matter.“
“Salad very flavorful with protein addition grilled chicken (upcharge). Fruit fresh. Opted to add a smoothie. Service 4 stars only due to 3+ desired smoothie option choices unavailable, however, server, was accomodating to recommend creating one.“
“Enjoyable & wonderful food. Always fresh & delish. Great service. Mo & Matt are long timers & will make sure you are well taken care of. Though you will be full at the end of your meal, be sure to try the cheesecake covered in whipped cream. Wow...enough for several to share a bite!Kid-friendliness: Sandwiches & fruits are kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp close by at Subway end.“
“There is nothing bad that you can say about this place! Every single time that we’ve been here, we’ve had an amazing experience. From service, food, seasonal food choices, drinks, and desserts, it’s just a great place to eat, and have a quick meal or a meeting or a leisurely dinner. We tend to go when we have just a little time to go in and have a quick bite and something to drink on our way to an event or something, but we went to a business meeting here a month ago, and it was, a great experience as well. They have a separate room that you can holdings in room for projector screen and such.“
“Paramount is the perfect sports bar for families. With plenty of TVs, everyone gets a great view of the game. It stands out with an arcade area for kids and an impressive food and beer menu that goes beyond typical sports bar offerings. The large roll-up doors that open to a patio are a hit on nice days, blending indoor comfort with the outdoor vibe. It's my top pick for anyone wanting to enjoy sports (especially with kids).“
“My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Club and everything was amazing! The food was tasty, drinks were great and everything was the way we dreamed! They even had my husband’s favorite, a fried pickle bar and it was a hit with all our guest! ❤️“
“Rojo is a staple in the area and I can’t imagine Birmingham without it! Tucked in beautiful Highland Park this gem is a must stop for the local atmosphere and diverse eats. Many gluten free/vegan options, dine in or to go… stuck at home? DoorDash it!!! You have to try the David’s Quesadilla, it’s a personal favorite. Stop in for open mic night for a good time or visit during any other special nights/events. Thank you for everything Rojo!❤️Dietary restrictions: Dairy free, Gluten Free, Vegan options“
“We came and ate last night before a show. Our waiter was amazing!! I can’t remember his name, but he was a talk African American guy with two nose rings and tattoos! I just wanted to give a shout out to him for being awesome! Never had melt before but would definitely go again!“
“It was our first time for our anniversary. The atmosphere was very nice. The service was the best service I’ve ever had at a restaurant the food was very unique and excellent. We will be making this a tradition to come here for our anniversary from here on out“
“First time dinning with the family at this restaurant. Nice atmosphere and our waiter was excellent. Disappointed in the corn suffle in that it didn’t have very much corn kernels but the Cedarwood Planked Salmon was very moist and the rice pilaf was very good. Overall, I would highly recommend.“
“I am new to the area and saw this place today. They had slices of pound cake and mini pies. They might have had other items too but I only noticed these, they captured my attention right away. I purchased a mini sweet potato pie, key lime, and a pecan. I also purchased a slice of lemon pound cake. My 12 year old announced she didn’t like pound cake or pie… A couple of hours later I tried the sweet potato pie. The 12 year old asked for a taste and begged to have the rest. Tonight we equally ate the lemon pound cake. Both superb. We haven’t tried the other 2 minis yet, but have no doubt they will be equally delicious. This place had the most delicious sweet potato pie and even better than my own (really good) lemon pound cake. Prices are reasonable and they have fantastic employees.“
“We were looking for an authentic Alabama lunch experience and found it with Ted’s. We arrived towards the end of the lunch service and found them friendly and welcoming upon entering the space. Free, ample parking, available seating and staff smiles helped us feel at home from the moment we entered. The vegetables were my favorite and immediately took me back to my great aunt’s cooking. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend.“
“Went in to grab a quick lunch and chose the Italian sub. Everything on it was fresh and the meat used was of good quality as well. It's nice to be able to get a sub and actually taste the individual ingredients instead of the usual bland mess thrown at us by most chains.“
“Went here after a cheer competition! We had a large party and were set quickly! Our waitress had multiple large parties and was absolutely fabulous! Food was amazing! The kids enjoyed the outside area while waiting on food! Very accommodating to allergies and picky eaters! Highly recommend! Only con is that they don’t have one in Murfreesboro, TN!!“
“Guys yesterday I got the chance to try The Essential. Not going to lie I only came here because they made the list of 25 best burgers in Alabama so of course I hade to try it. However we had to get some other items to try. To start off the place was very nice and welcoming not a huge place either but not too small. A very nice bar, great place for friends and small family gatherings or even a nice date night. 8/10 I also really loved the open kitchen they had you could see the chefs working hard and getting the dishes out. Our waitress (forgot her name) was probably hands down one of the best waitresses I have ever had and even got some up sales out of me. Also got to meet who I think was either the manager or the owner not sure but he was very nice too. 10/10 on customer service. APPETIZER: BAKED MOZZARELLA (Lioni cheese, calabrian sauce, fontina). This was so freaking good its hard to explain but I'm going to do my best. It's baked mozzarella but eating it you'd definitely think it was fried but it was not. The sauce was so good its not marinara sauce kind of is but with a slight spicy kick. I absolutely devoured this thing. Probably my favorite dish of the whole night. 10/10 We also recieved free focaccia bread which is one of my favorite breads and it was so good. I was not a big fan of the ricotta cheese blend though it's just me I'm not a fan of ricotta cheese lol. But the bread itself was top notch. So fluffy and yet properly toasted and buttery. 8.5/10 Now for what I and all of you are waiting for: CHEESEBURGER (Bear Creek beef, big mac style, fries) This burger was so fresh and delicious don't let the picture fool you it was not very big but still very delicious. The Big Mac style sauce was good. The ingredients you could easily tell were very fresh but I feel like seasoning wasn't executed well and lacked salt and pepper. Fries were cut fresh very good and well seasoned. Do I think it deserves to be on the top 25 list? Yes but what they are charging for it I think it's a bit much for what you actually recieve. 8.9/10 Second entrée was: HALF CHICKEN PIRI PIRI (guajillo marinade, peanut-lime gremolata, fries) This was some flavorful juicy chicken Piri Piri definitely done right however correct me if I'm wrong but half chicken means half a chicken right because we only recieved a butterflied chicken breast. Maybe I'm missing something here and someone can help me understand. 9/10 Last but not least dessert: CARROT CAKE (swiss meringue buttercream, whipped cheesecake) The dessert menu wasn't very extravagant and very limited but I found out they own their own bakery so the cakes were made in house so we got the carrot it. It was very good and very moist however it had coconut all over it and I flat out don't like coconut it's a texture thing not a flavor thing. For the price you pay for it I definitely expected a bigger slice then what we recieved. But with that being said 8.5/10 Would I come back here? Yes! Do I recommend this place? Yes! However I think for what you're paying for some for the items I think the portions should be adjusted accordingly. Staff was spectacular food was great and I really enjoyed my time here.“
“The chicken salad and several other meals were tasty! Yikes...we received menus 15 minutes after being seated. We had to get our own silverware and 1-2 tables were dirty. Yikes. We were really hungry after hours of basketball so...we stayed. The pita chips made it worth it!!“
“Have been going to this place for so many years. Don't get to go as much as would like but I really enjoy the chicken and dressing , macaroni & cheese, and the green beans. Most of the time the rolls. Unfortunately last time they were hard. My dad got the veggie plate and really liked all his options as well.“
“Can't really speak for lunch as I've only eaten there once (was good), but breakfast is fantastic. I love the ladies that work in the mornings together. Super sweet & very hard workers. Unlike many places, I don't feel like I'm a burden for being there.“
“First time for this location. The staff were friendly and answered questions I had about the menu. I chose the Buffalo chicken wrap with the side salad. The wrap was good and flavorful. The side salad could have been a meal in itself. Overall a good choice for lunch. I recommend it to anyone.“
“Very intimate place with about 5-6 tables excluding the bar seating! Fully stocked bar with tvs and music! I’ve gone twice before making this review, and I have enjoyed the food! I prefer their appetizers! I think I’ve tried most of them from the corn dip, corn dogs, to their spinach dip! All were very tasty! The second visit I had the rice bowl which consisted of rice, very few vegetables and shrimp! It was good and would’ve preferred more vegetables… it was most rice! We also had the pork chop with Brussels. They were out of (mashed)potatoes so they served with rice. It was tasty. The pork chop was thick cut and we asked for Heinz 57 or something similar and they didn’t have it! The wings and pork chop could use more seasoning! Overall it’s a unique place to visit and I would return! Drinks were good as well!“
“When I walked in the door, I was greeted by someone. I was told there would be a 5 minute wait to sit down. It didn’t take the whole 5 minutes for me and two additional people to be seated. The business was quite full but everyone appeared to be enjoying themselves, smiling and eating. As soon as we were seated a waitress took our drink orders along with our food. We received our drinks right away. It took approximately 10 minutes for us to get our food. The food was delicious. I am impressed. Great service overall. 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“The chicken salad is PERFECT! It's not dry, I love the flavor and it's always fresh. Picking up lunch and dinner at the same time is so useful - it really helps with the evening rush to be able to pick up fresh food to heat up later. Love this place!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking right out front and open enough to wheel comfortably up to the table.“
“Always a good time here. Hands down, some of the best hamburgers in b'ham. Service is so friendly, your order is taken quickly and there are so many beer options to try!Parking: There is a parking lot behind the building but spots fill up quickly. Street parking is available, it usually isn't hard to find a spot semi-close by.“
“Went for lunch and would highly recommend. Nice atmosphere, rustic and casual with fast service. Had the brisket sandwich and the chick fried sandwich and both were delicious. The brisket melted in my mouth and the chicken was cooked just right. Even the bread was amazing. The sandwiches came with a side and the mushroom soup was AMAZING. The portions were just right, filling but not huge. Although the food we ordered was heavier it wasn't grease or too much just devious. Good value. Will definitely be returning on my next trip to Birmingham.“
“I was looking for food at night, and this place caught my eye. The environment was so chill, and everything was more than reasonably priced. I also appreciate ya'll playing "The Isley Brothers - Between The Sheets" for me. Thanks again for the hospitality.“
“It’s great to have the original menu back, but certain items are different than I recall. While the potato salad and chicken salad lived up to our hopes, my old favorite, the chicken and slaw pita, was a disappointment. In the old days the slaw wasn’t marinated and you’d add oil and vinegar at your table, but with marinated slaw the pita fell apart immediately. Worse, the chicken was less flavorful than I remembered. That’s ok - hopefully they can work out the kinks and return to the original menu’s former glory.“
“So, today was my bday and all I wanted was some fried chicken livers - random, I know, but I've been craving them for a few weeks now. I used to get my fried livers from Popeyes but they no longer carry them. I was told about the American Ranch House - whew!!! Those were some of the best friend chicken livers I've had since I left Mississippi. So crispy but not dried out. Full of flavor. I will 100 percent be coming back! A+++++“
“Oh my goodness. We didn’t know what to expect from the pictures as the biscuits are dark But it’s the flour used. Everything is baked on site. The combination of ingredients were amazing. We ordered everything that didn’t have meat and were excitedly surprised. They were all simply delicious. We discovered they roast their own coffee and make their own syrup. So, of course, we tried the blueberry spice coffee. It had cinnamon, cardamom and other spices as well as their blueberry syrup. It was amazing. We will definitely be back“
“Collins Bar is a Birmingham gem where the drinks are as unique as the atmosphere. Owned by Andrew Collins, this place radiates the heart of Birmingham's welcoming spirit. The bartenders are true pros, crafting drinks tailored to your specific tastes, making every visit a personalized experience. Whether it's a night out with friends or a cozy date, the space perfectly accommodates any occasion. My wife and I have made countless memories here, from our first dates to nights out with friends. If you're in Birmingham and can visit only one bar, make it Collins Bar. It's not just a bar; it's an experience that embodies the essence of the city.“
“I've been driving past this place for months and thought I needed to try it. Today was the day, Chili Cheese dogs for me and Slaw dogs for a co-worker. Fries and Tots too, both of out meals were good, friendly people behind the counter too. Looks like they have a good variety of other standards for this type of small restaurant. I/we'll be back soon. Thanks Guys.“
“"Tripp's Bar is an absolute gem! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ From the moment I stepped through the door, I knew I was in for a fantastic time. The vibe is electric, the music is pumping, and the atmosphere is just what you need to let loose and have a blast. Now, let's talk about the real star of the show - their fried pickles! ?? Holy moly, these are some of the best I've ever had. Crispy, flavorful, and downright addictive, they're the perfect companion to a cold drink and good company. But that's not all - the drinks menu is a masterpiece in itself. Whether you're into classic cocktails or bold new creations, Tripp's has something for everyone. And the bartenders? They're total pros, mixing up drinks with style and flair that'll leave you speechless. So if you're looking for a night out that's filled with fun, flavor, and unforgettable memories, look no further than Tripp's Bar. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!" ??“
“we were passing through on a family trip & stopped at metro diner to eat- our server (Shannon) was phenomenal. there was also a man who played with my 3 boys & did a magic trick for us. felt like we had been going there for years. not only great service, the food was also fast & delicious“
“We’ve been here twice in the last three months. First, we went for their Studio 22 NYE event which was a blast! The unlimited drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and perfectly selected live entertainment made for a wonderful evening. Second, we went to see Chappell Roan who had local drag queens open for her. Both times were a blast and parking in the area was plentiful. Would definitely recommend this venue!“
“My son took the family to Beef O’Brady’s. It was my first time here. When we got there, the place was not crowded, just the right amount of people to give it a decent atmosphere. The food and service were great! I will definitely return!“
“I was in Birmingham this week and was walking around looking for some sort of local place to eat at and came across this place, Crafts. I checked the reviews and to be honest they were mixed. I was feeling like some fried chicken and since I was in the south I thought I'll try to this place. This place is sort of off the beaten path along with some other restaurants. The store front looked nice. I was suprised by how big the inside was. I walked in and this place was huge. Maybe 30 tables? There were a lot and unfortunately it was pretty empty but the place was clean! Maybe I came in an off time. The menu had all sort of stuff on it from salads to sandwiches to fried chicken and chicken tenders and so on. It was a good selection. The person taking the order was extremely nice and patient. I couldn't decide if I wanted the traditional fried chicken or the tenders. I picked the tenders with fries and a sweet tea. They gave me a number and I sat down. It took probably 10 min to get my food which meant they were actually cooking it fresh. My food came and it was a lot of food. I ordered the 6 piece tender and I should have got the 4 piece. These were thick hand breaded tenders. The coating was crispy, and it was very well seasoned. These were not bland at all. The fries now were awesome and something I never had before. These were almost like potato wedges but were spiral. They were thick, with a lot of surface area on them so they got very crispy on the outside but really tender on the inside. It was amazing. To top it all off as well the person taking my order gave me 10% off because it was my 1st time there. Which was nice. Overall this place is a go again. The food was good, the wait staff was amazing and nice, and the restaurant itself was clean.“
“From the moment I stepped into the Scenic View Cafe, I was greeted with the warmth and charm that only a hidden gem like this can offer. The cafe boasts an ambiance that strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant, with its stunning views that promise a visual feast alongside the culinary one. Each table offers a picturesque outlook, making every seat in the house the best one.The menu, though modest, is thoughtfully curated, featuring a variety of dishes that cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences. The ingredients are fresh, locally sourced, and skillfully prepared, resulting in flavors that are both comforting and exciting. I had the pleasure of trying their signature dish, and it was nothing short of spectacular—a testament to the chef’s creativity and passion for food. What sets the Scenic View Cafe apart, though, is its impeccable service. The staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making your dining experience memorable. They are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations, ensuring that every guest leaves feeling satisfied and valued. The Scenic View Cafe is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. Whether you’re looking for a place to enjoy a leisurely brunch or a romantic dinner, this cafe is the perfect spot. It’s a place where the food, the view, and the service come together to create a truly remarkable dining experience. I left the Scenic View Cafe with a full stomach, a happy heart, and a promise to myself to return soon.“
“This place was amazing! One of the best burgers i have ever had!! The owner/chef and Angel were so so so nice. I can’t thank them enough. We were driving through from STL to FL and stopped in for a quick lunch with some family. I am so glad we did. We have a 1 year old and 3 year old. The 3 year old didn’t like the sauce on the burger (moms fault) so they got us a new bun and then we asked for some hot water to make a bottle and the owner went above and beyond and boiled water for us so it would stay hot for the rest of our car ride! Thank you so much for the amazing food and kind service.“
“Wow. Wow. Wow. Blown away. I’m a huge fan of “fine, French cuisine” and this was certainly worth the 90 min drive to get to. Beautiful and simple, yet service and food are well planned and very intentional. Will absolutely be back, this place DID NOT MISS! Would give 6* if I could.“
