“The fried chicken is some of the VERY best, southern fried chicken that I've ever had, I finished the chicken and squash casserole for breakfast lol
My husband had the turkey n dressin with mashed potatoes and black eyed peas, said everything was great and that carrot cake... omgoodness, I may have to go back since we're in town for another day, it's a good thing that we live 2 hrs away or we would be there SEVERAL days per week. Thank you for a awesome meal after a very stressful day! One more thing, this is the first rest that we've been to in B'ham where we were greeted with a smile and kindness by every staff member.“

“Pleasant older property recently nicely refurbished. Friendly staff, very clean premises. Odd layout, elevators are at back of building so be prepared to walk a lot of hallways. No bathroom amenities, just dispensers; no daily maid service. Location is the key to this hotel; cannot be beat; close to everything and safe. Bistro dining concept is still just that and really does not work well. Save your money and go to one of the many local spots nearby. Nice pool area for relaxing. Overall a safe bet for Birmingham.“

“Our waitress was great. We have the fried pimento balls. Which were great! They came with two dipping sauces. One was a hot sauce(not a fan), and the Other was a ranch that was tasty.
I had a Salmon wrap I didn't like the texture of the things going on in it. So I switched it for the Honey mustard wrap which was way better. Everything else was great. Favorite drink was the Honeysuckle.“

“Absolutely incredible spot! We went for brunch and felt like absolute kings. Closest I’ve ever felt to being a medieval aristocrat - they brought plates upon plates and everything was unbelievable - one stand out was a griddled piece of sweet cornbread smothered in collards, pulled pork and a poached egg. At any other restaurant, that would’ve been a 15-20$ appetizer , but here?? It was just a part of endless brunch for 48$ (including drinks!!). Cannot recommend highly enough“
