“I have heard positive experiences about Pizzeria GM from multiple people and decided to try it. Once I got there, the atmosphere was great, friendly, and very welcoming. We went during a pretty busy time during the day but the staff was able to get us a table quickly. Everyone who was working at the restaurant was attentive and could answer any questions we had with no hesitation. The menu has many different options that people can choose from whether it be appetizers or main course dishes. Once the food arrived, we were so glad we decided to come here. The pizza was great, it was shared between some friends and me, and we all had nothing but positive things to say. It also is a very family-friendly restaurant. I’m usually seeking out coffee shops that also have a nice selection of hot teas, with the London fog latte being my go-to. They were out of Earl grey when I went which was a bummer but I ended up getting the pistachio rose flavored iced coffee and it was good. The rose was very strong- which I enjoyed but if you like a subtle flavor profile be sure to try something else or maybe ask for less syrup than they usually use. It was packed and there weren’t a lot of places to sit and enjoy our coffees, but we took them to go. Overall a good experience and I would love to come back at some point to try a London fog latte.“

The cute guy at the counter was polite and made suggestions. I decided to try the Strawberry Blonde. I saw several other people with their dogs. I was able to have a couple beers, eat a burger (from food truck outside), chill indoors with my dogs and use the restroom. A huge outdoor and indoor sitting area with a variety of seating types. The burrata with olive oil and crostini toast was a star. Creamy heaven on perfectly toasted bread. The 3 cheeses on the board were well balanced. Not pictured is the bread and olive oil dish. This was our least favorite dish. The olive oil was good quality but the bread was lackluster for us. If it were toasted it may have been better but for a plain piece of bread it just didn't add to the dish. Sort of like wheat bread from subway. We had two white wines based on their recommendations that were lovely. We even got a bottle of each to take home.“

What I love is the trio- 1/2 sandwich, cup of soup and choice of salad. I have had both the tomato basil and chicken chili and both are delicious. They have several side salads and I particularly like the Caesar. My lunch partners like the garden salad. The turkey crunch sandwich is good, the steak salad very good and I will try the crepes next. Warm chocolate cake with ice cream or the vanilla buttercream cake room temp are my favorites and the perfect finish to the trio lunch. I dined in today and enjoyed the delicious 12-inch Hot Mama pizza in their outdoor dining area during a beautiful 60-degree day. I was hesitant to order this considering the odd ingredients (I'm more of a pepperoni and nothing else type person) but today I felt adventurous. “My first time at Railroad Park and we very much enjoyed our visit! The Alabama Symphony Orchestra was performing and it was brilliant! The weather was perfect for a night under the stars listening to an orchestra. We got in relatively quickly as it was a free show. There were a lot of people here! We brought our blanket and spread it out on the grass to listen to the show. It was crowded but not too bad where we couldn't spread out a bit. They had food trucks and plenty of places to get snacks. We were allowed to bring in a cooler with water and Cokes in it. The staff checking our things as we walked in were quick and friendly. There were plenty of portable restrooms as well as the ones at the facility. It's a very beautiful park and very clean from trash. There are several places within walking distance to get a drink or a meal. The only thing I found aggravating was the parking. There's only a limited number of street spaces available. We drove around for a good 20 minutes or so before finally finding a place to park. In all, it was a great show and a fun experience! Thanks!!“

Now, I am never thrilled about the consistency of the potato salad but once I get over the fact there are no chunks of potatoes, I really like the flavor.
