7 Best Dog Friendly Restaurants Trussville

Ferus Artisan Ales Brewery • $$
101 Beech St Suite111, Trussville

“I have updated my review based on a detailed response from management, as I was incorrect regarding water container policy. It's got a nice outdoor patio area with space for the kids to run around. The beer is typically pretty good, much better than the owners previous brewery was when it was sold to Good People. That being said, there is another brewery in the same complex whose beer I do typically prefer- if the beer is your only reason for going, keep that in mind. Surprisingly, their frozen bushwhacker is one of the best I have ever had and is probably my favorite thing to get here out of all the options (when it's available). The food has always been better than standard "bar fare", and there is a pretty inexpensive kids menu. the regular menu It might be a bit higher priced than similar offerings elsewhere, but it depends on what you get. We have never had anything that was bad. The menu at this location and the Avondale location are not the same, so you can't make a comparison there. There are other food options in the complex if you don't want anything on offer there, including a pizza place, so it makes the outdoor area pretty good for parties and events. All in all, it can be a pretty good time for groups. The interior bar area its nicely done and attractive, and the staff, particularly the bartenders, are always pretty fast. Sometimes table service inside will not be quick when they are busy, but the main seating area inside is relatively small compared to the outdoor options. Warmer months are certainly the best time to come if you just want to hang out for a drink and snacks. Finally, I would like to apologize to the establishment for my previous reviews inaccuracies based on the water/container policy of the city of Trussville and the State of Alabama, as that was very unfair to management and staff.“

“This was my first time here. My wife who was with me had been here one time before. I tried the German Chocolate frappe. It said that it had coconut flavor. Neither one of us tasted it. It was good, but just tasted like a mild chocolate flavor. If I would've tasted the coconut I would've given 5 stars. I will go back again to try them out again.“

It tastes absolutely amazing and have been craving it for so long but other places I have tried it didn't taste as close to the 1 place I use to order from when I lived in Colorado and it is a huge portion. Thank you guys for making my night with this. Absolutely amazing.“

“So, getting ready to open up an antique booth on Crestwood in Birmingham so went looking for a great restaurant. Well, we found it! The Filling Station is a def winner, with burgers to die for, great wings, amazing pizza and Stromboli and calzones along with a variety af starters and entrees! Brandi, our bartender did a great job with a bar full of customers. My burger was cooked just right and the peppers were grilled and made the sandwich amazing. My wife raved about the wings also! With seating inside and a covered outside seating area, multiple tv's to watch the games and with servers well trained I would highly recommend trying the Filling Station out! Well done!“

Grand River Drive-In Pet Friendly • $
1453 Grand River Pkwy N, Leeds - 4.86 miles

“I LOVE visiting this drive-in! So affordable and such a cool experience. They show new movies and theme them by the time of year as well. There is a super cute put-put golf area attached to the Leeds Mall, and some restaurants. I will say the restaurant area needs a lot of work. It was super disorganized and our food was quoted to take 10 minutes when it really took 35 so we missed the first bit of our movie. We still had a good time, but we will try something else to eat instead. Be aware that there are no speakers and the audio plays through your car radio so don’t let your car battery die!“

“My husband doesn't eat seafood but thought I'd like to try a new place. He loves red beans and rice and it was definitely a hit for him! Neither of us could finish our food, but it didn't stop us from taking it home for leftovers. Highly recommend! Also, they have the best fried pickles I've ever tasted.“

Sam's Club Cafe Cafe •
5940 Trussville Crossings Pkwy, Birmingham - 1.99 miles

“It seems that Sams is always packed with people, which makes the trip a little less enjoyable. It is summer and I think that's part of the reason why it stays busy. I loved going when school was in session and there was hardly anyone in there and I could peacefully walk through and just look at everything. Even though its super busy, i do enjoy the deals I get there. You can't beat the value sized bags of chips, snacks, or candy. We also love buying gatorade, water, and beer here. It's a better deal than the grocery store and super convenient if you use curbside pickup so you dont even have to lift them. We typically use scan and go if we go in the store and its so convenent. The only issue is sometimes the location won't work correctly and it doesn't realize you're in the store, so you have to connect to their wifi for it to work whcih I'm not a fan of. But that doesn't happen every time.“
