Los Valedores Restaurant is a nice little spot serving up great food. It is the best place in Birmingham for great tasting Mexican food, deserving a spot on everyone's must-eat list. The best tacos in Birmingham are incredibly flavorful with perfect tortilla texture. The chips and queso are fresh, thick, and a generous portion. The menu is incredible, with chicken and campechanos tacos, and sauces like the red sauce with a nice kick and smokey flavor, and the green sauce with a nice kick. The pozole and salmon with veggies and green chili rice are also amazing. The restaurant is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is quick. The food is more flavorful, especially the rice, with way more meat in the tacos. The parking situation is a struggle during the lunch rush.
