Bishop was amazing....staring woth the glass of celebratory champaign, picking a perfect wine pairing, explaining the dishes, great sense of humor....he helped make our experience fun and memorable. We came around 1:40 P.M. as a pit-stop from our road trip headed back home, and ChatGPT was right with this spot being top recommended!

My bf had the BBQ chicken sandwich, and I had the chicken quesadilla--both in which were absolutely DEEEEEEE-LICUOUS!!!

We both had the cheese pasta, and that came out terrific, too.

The greeter/cleaning specialist was very much about assisting customers and keeping the place clean for the customers. This young lady definitely makes this spot welcoming.“

Almost as soon as we were seated, the manager came over to talk to me about my dietary restriction. He explained that Chef Mark had seen the note on my reservation that I can’t have added salt and had already taken it into consideration. What really blew me away was that they actually went out of their way to prepare a special potato au gratin for me with no added salt. That kind of thoughtfulness and attention is so rare, and it meant more to me than they probably realized.

Chef Mark is truly AMAZING. My filet mignon was cooked absolutely perfectly. It was incredibly tender, flavorful, and honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had, even without added salt. The asparagus was also cooked perfectly, and the special potatoes were unbelievably delicious. It takes a truly talented chef to make food taste that good while working around a restriction, and Chef Mark absolutely nailed it.

And then there was Diamond, who made the whole experience even better. She was fantastic! She was attentive, funny, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. She took the time to give us detailed descriptions of different dishes and told us which ones were her personal favorites, which we absolutely love when a server does. It made the experience feel much more personal rather than just ordering off a menu.

Between Chef Mark’s incredible care and talent, Diamond’s wonderful service, and the manager making a point to personally check in with us, we felt genuinely taken care of from the moment we sat down. Brock’s should be very proud of this team. We will absolutely be back!“

“On Saturday, April 5, 2025, I had my retirement dinner at Culinary Dropout. There were twenty people in my party. Our server Natalie was a "little dynamo". Even the restaurant was crowded due prom season, she got all drink orders promptly. The starters orders arrived soon after. Then the entrees. She was there for drink refills and other requests. She handled the situation with grace, kindness and professionalism. Her and the other wait staff were truly exceptional. The bartenders got drink orders promptly and made to protection. They made my 25 year retirement celebration truly awesome! I will definitely book any future events with this amazing restaurant. Kudos!!!!“

“OMGOSH!!!! I ate at Steel City last night (12/21/22) as I am staying on property at the HI. We had a party of six. EVERY ORDER WAS SUPERB!! I had the grilled pork chops, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes! Delicious!!! The pork chops - yes two came on my order - were grilled to perfection! They were great cuts and TENDER! The mac and cheese and the potatoes were both homemade and delightfully seasoned! I almost asked the waiter if the cook was married! I want to carry him home with me!? Two adults in our party had Philly steak and cheese; two children had flatbread pizza - one cheese and one pepperoni - and our 15 year old had a burger with mushrooms EACH PERSON RAVED OVER THEIR MEAL. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT AND NICE PORTIONS!!! We are good cooks and we know good food!!!! Do not think twice - eat at Steel City!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!! PS We are eating there again today before our flight to Florida?“

Her biscuits and gravy were also pretty good, with a side of scrambled eggs that was actually too much food. Nice staff, but the running room itself is pretty plain. I wouldn't hesitate to return.“

“When I go to Topgolf, I typically have a great time but last night I was disgusted me and two friends went there to eat and have a good time we went into the restaurant. We waited an hour before anyone even spoke to us then when we stopped a few of the workers one guy with dreads that was working the bar with a red shirt on, he was rude. When I asked did he work there and when I asked him to get us a server he ignored me after several attempts to get an employee to come, Services us savanna a server came to the table after 45 minutes of trying her best to ignore us and several other customers and asked the drink orders but at this point we’re ordering food as well long story short we spent we came in at 9 didn’t leave the restaurant part until 1130 and missed our spot at the golf course. When we asked for the check that took 45 minutes even though it was almost empty in the place. It seem like no manager cared or just wasn’t present the place was being ran by kids and it was horrible.“
