“We came for our 37th wedding anniversary. It was our 1st time eating here. Our server was Bishop. Bishop was amazing....staring woth the glass of celebratory champaign, picking a perfect wine pairing, explaining the dishes, great sense of humor....he helped make our experience fun and memorable. The food....OH. MY. GOODNESS!!! The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection! From the bread, Amuse Bouche, appetizer (great fried green tomatoes, by the way!!!) Intermezzo, main course (ribeye and braised rabbit), and dessert with coffee....every step was amazing! A truly wonderful sensual experience from all the aromas, flavors, and ambiance. We will definitely be back, and will definitely recommend Cafe DuPont to others. Thank you for making our celebration special!“

“We are frequent Season's 52 diners. Always excellent! Tonight we sat in the Bar area for Happy Hour. Great flatbreads and wine. Then had scallops, pork chop, filet and lamb lollipops. Every bite was wonderful. JULIA is an outstanding server!!“

“This restaurant has a nice ambiance being in an older repurposed building downtown. It was a cold evening so we were grateful for the ability of valet parking. The service was friendly and professional. The food choices were varied and all options chosen by our party were prepared well and delicious.“

We came around 1:40 P.M. as a pit-stop from our road trip headed back home, and ChatGPT was right with this spot being top recommended!
My bf had the BBQ chicken sandwich, and I had the chicken quesadilla--both in which were absolutely DEEEEEEE-LICUOUS!!!
We both had the cheese pasta, and that came out terrific, too.
The greeter/cleaning specialist was very much about assisting customers and keeping the place clean for the customers. This young lady definitely makes this spot welcoming.“

“My first time at The Club! I was there for a scholarship dinner and thoroughly impressed. I asked about joining and was told that you had to be recommended. This is definitely a shortcoming for the club as I do not know many people in Alabama. This rule needs to be changed.“

“I had such a beautiful birthday dining experience at Brock’s, and I absolutely had to leave a review. From the atmosphere to the service to the food, everything felt warm, elevated, and intentional.
The lamb chops were cooked to perfection — medium, exactly the way I requested them — tender, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned. The au gratin potatoes (white & sweet)were rich and comforting and were absolutely divine. Every bite felt thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor.
I also enjoyed the roasted red pepper soup and ended the evening with the berry trifle dessert, which was the perfect sweet finish to a wonderful meal. You can tell care goes into both the presentation and the quality of the food.
What made the evening even more special was the exceptional service from Kat. She was attentive, kind, professional, and helped make my birthday dinner feel genuinely celebrated. I truly appreciated the signed birthday card and the extra touches that made the experience feel personal instead of rushed or routine.
In a time when great customer service can sometimes feel rare, Brock’s delivered both outstanding food and hospitality. I left feeling full, celebrated, and grateful for such a memorable evening.

“Went on an amazing date here, the vibes were perfect for date night! The atmosphere is very upscale and it feels like fine dining. We had the house made chips as our appetizer and they were delectable. I had the Brick Chicken as my main and it was absolutely perfect, I highly recommend! Staff were amazing and they were great about checking for food allergies. Everything is cooked to order and tasted amazing!“

“Our family (my husband & I & our three toddlers) was in the area today & were recommended Real & Rosemary for lunch. We had a wonderful experience. “On Saturday, April 5, 2025, I had my retirement dinner at Culinary Dropout. There were twenty people in my party. Our server Natalie was a "little dynamo". Even the restaurant was crowded due prom season, she got all drink orders promptly. The starters orders arrived soon after. Then the entrees. She was there for drink refills and other requests. She handled the situation with grace, kindness and professionalism. Her and the other wait staff were truly exceptional. The bartenders got drink orders promptly and made to protection. They made my 25 year retirement celebration truly awesome! I will definitely book any future events with this amazing restaurant. Kudos!!!!“

“OMGOSH!!!! I ate at Steel City last night (12/21/22) as I am staying on property at the HI. We had a party of six. EVERY ORDER WAS SUPERB!! I had the grilled pork chops, mac and cheese and mashed potatoes! Delicious!!! The pork chops - yes two came on my order - were grilled to perfection! They were great cuts and TENDER! The mac and cheese and the potatoes were both homemade and delightfully seasoned! I almost asked the waiter if the cook was married! I want to carry him home with me!? Two adults in our party had Philly steak and cheese; two children had flatbread pizza - one cheese and one pepperoni - and our 15 year old had a burger with mushrooms EACH PERSON RAVED OVER THEIR MEAL. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT AND NICE PORTIONS!!! We are good cooks and we know good food!!!! Do not think twice - eat at Steel City!!! You will NOT be disappointed!!!! PS We are eating there again today before our flight to Florida?“

“Demian and Olivia were a delight. We visited downtown prior to a show at the BJCC and happened upon The Harvest for a quick bite to each. We recieved a warm welcome, fast and friendly service and our food arrived quickly. Demian visited our table numerous times to check on the service and food, the visit definitely completed a wonderful evening. Kudos to your team!“

“When I go to Topgolf, I typically have a great time but last night I was disgusted me and two friends went there to eat and have a good time we went into the restaurant. We waited an hour before anyone even spoke to us then when we stopped a few of the workers one guy with dreads that was working the bar with a red shirt on, he was rude. When I asked did he work there and when I asked him to get us a server he ignored me after several attempts to get an employee to come, Services us savanna a server came to the table after 45 minutes of trying her best to ignore us and several other customers and asked the drink orders but at this point we’re ordering food as well long story short we spent we came in at 9 didn’t leave the restaurant part until 1130 and missed our spot at the golf course. When we asked for the check that took 45 minutes even though it was almost empty in the place. It seem like no manager cared or just wasn’t present the place was being ran by kids and it was horrible.“
