“Classic local *meat-and-three* southern diner. Had a lunch there today with my mom. Food is very good, especially the vegetables! (Butter beans, field peas, and fried okra were all yum.) Great service, friendly folks. (They even went to a bit of extra trouble so we could have hot tea.) Lots of tables to accommodate families and groups. It is is one big room filled with tables and chairs, so I can't really say anything about "atmosphere." But I do recommend it, and we'll be back!Vegetarian options: They offer multiple vegetables each day. I do not know if they offer vegan though.Parking: The restaurant is a large building with its own large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Very family-friendly.“

“I didn’t realize they closed at 9:00 pm and I arrived at the drive thru at about 8:53. I ordered a Cajun chicken biscuit combo with Mac n cheese, chicken finger combo with mashed potatoes and an order of fries, which he said would take 3 mins to cook and asked if that is okay. I said yes and he politely said okay. I pulled around to pay and then saw the sign with the hours. He was so polite. I apologized for ordering so close to closing time, and he was so kind! The food was fresh and service was friendly ?“

“OMG!! I love being in the south. This place is awesome ?. Real southern hospitality at its best. From the moment u walk in, it's like ur at your Alabama grandma's house. The menu is exactly what u expect it to be to include okra, pinto beans, and fried bologna. The service staff is phenomenal. Sweet as honey pie and friendly as an iced tea on ur neighbor's porch. Pricing is ridiculous. For breakfast with four people, the cost was under $40. If u r in the Tuscaloosa area, make it a point to stop in and say "hey" ur gonna feel right at home.“

“Luxury dining with welcoming folks in a warm environment. The staff worked like they enjoyed it and were there to make our night special. And it was. Blackened swordfish met every expectation. Even better when paired with the recommended Pinot Grigio. A great place for celebrating, making memories, and indulging“
