“Catfish Charlie has the best Catfish. Cooked just right. I have a cousin who will drive from Virginia just to get their Catfish and hushpuppies. And will eat your Catfish 3 or 4 times while they are here.”

“Their combo specials are great! So far we've tried the honey chicken, fried rice, steamed rice, sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli, and the egg rolls. The lady who runs the store has been very kind, and she even recognized me after only two visits. We'll definitely keep coming back.”

“The flavor choices are exceptional! I don't eat much sugar at all, but this place is worth the splurge every once in a while. The Ferrero Rocher is absolutely amazing, along with the cream cheese, Pina colada, cappuccino... It's so hard to choose every time. But I always get the Ferrero Rocher. I only wish they had a cup that was half the size of the small. The small is a good value ($4.99 at time of review) but I can't comfortably eat that much without my stomach hurting. In the future, my daughter and I will probably split a small.”

“I love having Dockside open up Hwy 43 to give us another option for dinner close to home! If you haven’t tried the fried shrimp or the catfish, you’re definitely missing out! There’s just something extra about the breading that had me eating ALL my shrimp and not sharing with my husband! 🤣 Highly recommend checking it out!”

Their food is made extremely well (coming from a picky eater), the workers are always nice even when you can see that they’re tired, and I’ve never seen the place dirty. I decided to write a review after this long was because of my experience today. I ordered my typical order, but asked for only brown sugar on the grape salad. When I tell you- they UNDERSTOOD the assignment! Just wanted to thank them for being kind in tiny ways😁👍”

“My coworker and I tried it for the first time today. I swear the food was what you would get in a Stouffer’s TV dinner! I got hamburger steak. My coworker ordered Salisbury steak. Both were the same meat. Like some kind of mystery meat. And don’t get me started on the “Mac and cheese”. Terrible!!”

“Broadway Pizzeria catered a Birthday Party for us last night & EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!!! The food was delivered to our door hot & on time!! We had 2 pans of Chicken Alfredo, 2 orders of Cheese Sticks & Garlic Knots!! We fed 10 teenage girls and had TONS OF LEFTOVERS. The pizzas are amazing too - handmade & woodfired!!! ( just don’t skip out on the pastas🤤) Thank you Broadway Pizzeria! BIG SPECIAL THANK YOU to Anna for catering & setting up!!!”

“we have dined at this restaurant a few times in the past and the food was good. But on Friday April 26 2025 we ordered the Dos Amigos special and the shrimp in the dish was spoiled and rotten. The shrimp had a overpowering fishy smell and taste and this is usually a indication that he shrimp is spoiled. Once i informed the staff they offered to take the charge off ,but never did i was still charged for the stinky rotten disgusting shrimp and food! 🤢🤮🤢🤮”

“they have gotten a lot better with their times but every. single. time i go they somehow mess up the drink, either its 90% ice or its just the wrong drink 😭. and the tablet people are always taking cars orders who had just gotten there rather than taking the order of someone in the other lane whos been waiting for a longer amount of time. service is usually good tho”

“It's a good waffle house. The griddle is properly seasoned, so all the food comes out great. Cooks tend to be experienced. Lots os Waffle Houses in town, but this is the one I prefer.”

“Jackie was so sweet to us we came in last minute, wanting food for our church kids, and she went above and beyond to get our food out fast, and even gave us three free gallons of sweet tea, and some free ketchup! Will come back. You do not get good service like this anymore! Very refreshing experience!”

“We’ve been in Tuscaloosa several years but I’m not a huge BBQ fan (I’ve lived in too many BBQ towns, KC, Memphis, etc and had it all) but BBQ is the hubby’s absolute fave, so we visited Dreamland this weekend because it’d been awhile. Honestly, as someone who was not looking forward to eating BBQ anywhere, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! I had the BBQ baker - if you’ve had a similar dish at Jim n Nicks, it’s not nearly as good as the one I had at Dreamland. Also, dipping white bread in BBQ sauce that was warm and fresh was unexplainably good. Hubby was super happy with the ribs and our teenager enjoyed the sausage plate and said the okra was almost as good as his Mimi’s ;) (that’s a high bar folks, she’s a pro). Service was quick and friendly. I won’t be nearly as hesitant to eat BBQ next time the hubby asks!”

“I have been coming to this Waffle House since the day it opened. I will continue to come as long as Calvin is here. To the owner, I hope you know what you have with Calvin. Don’t take him for granted. I have been to a million waffle houses all over the country, but I have yet to come across another Calvin.. That guy is just amazing, and I enjoy the atmosphere when he is around. Promote the man! His attitude is the contagion that you WANT to spread like wild fire.”

“It is a real treat to go to McAlister's deli and this location proved to be great! The food was delicious and very filling, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had the choose two meal - what a fantastic deal for fresh and tasty food! Will definitely go back next time we are in town!”

“Estimated time for pickup said 7-12 minutes. I ordered at 5:39pm. I got there at 6:28pm, and they said it would be 15 more minutes. I finally got my order at 6:50pm. Normally they are good on Estimated times and I always wait an extra 10 minutes before I show up just in case. But tonight was horribly wrong. Estimated pickup was an hour off.”

“The worker Heidi is AMAZING. She ran the driver thru, made the orders perfect and answered the phone line the first ring. She made our banana splits as if she knew us personally. She didn't want our order to melt so she took the time to put the warm sauce on the side without requesting. Thanks for your great customer service!!!!”

“Ok I love Mr G’s in Northport but we just had the worst experience there. We ordered 2 ham and cheese sandwich’s, one with fries and the other with side salad. After around 45 minutes with no food I went to check on it. The cashier went in the back and asked about it and they were shaking their heads so she came and printed out another ticket. I heard one of the men ask her something in an irritated voice and she told him she was just checking on her order. I had been very nice up until I heard him get an attitude so obviously I felt I needed to get one to. She came back and said they were just waiting for them to come out of the oven. I said really then why were they acting like they didn’t know there was an order if it was in the oven. I could tell she was getting flustered having to deal with them and I was starting to get more than just annoyed so I just said ok and went back to my seat. After another 20 minutes we got our food. I noticed the man that had ordered after us walking up to the register with his receipt and when he came back by I asked if he was still waiting on his food. He was and said that if they ever got their food they were never coming back. When we finished and were leaving they were still sitting there waiting. Mr G’s you may have just lost a lot of return business tonight.”
