“Been getting pickup from here for a while now and it is consistently great quality food. The workers are always nice and helpful as well and never forget to ask if you need any extra napkins, plasticware, sauce, etc. Today, I forgot to ask for a side of sauce on my online order, but asked if they had anything that would go well with chicken while I was at the window, and the server immediately recommended the white BBQ sauce and offered to get me some free of charge. The sauce ended up being exactly what I was looking for and it was a great meal/experience like usual. This place will remain a go-to option for me when I’m looking for fast, high quality, and healthy food options and it should be on others’ lists as well. Much love to the Urban Cookhouse Team ?

The spicy mayo (not sure the name they called it) was amazing as well though truthfully the fries were so good without it I ended up hardly touching it. Drinks as well were so different from the 'norm' in Tuscaloosa and absolutely fantastic.
TLDR something new and different in town that is well worth your time to try out.”

Parking: Place was pretty busy and parking was tight. If you do go around the back of the building it dead ends so if your in a larger vehicle it would be hard to turn around.”

Thumbs up to everyone who runs this location for keeping it open day and night. Special thanks to Ebony, who is the staff member that asks each customer if there is anything else they would like to make their experience better. I never expected that from this type of restaurant. Ebony also ensures that the music reflects the customers' preferences by choosing a playlist that makes everyone feel the beat and enjoy the rhythm while eating.”

“My first Waffle House experience and it was fantastic! For starters, not only was the staff very friendly for an early Saturday morning, but they were all very polite as well. We sat down and ordered quickly, and our server was on top of everything. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything tasted great. I also paid attention to how friendly the staff was with the cool while they submitted orders and waited for their orders to go out. There was no shouting, they were polite, they weren't in each other's way and they were working quickly and efficiently. The cashier was sweet and friendly, and everyone thanked us as we left. I'm sure this restaurant gets very busy during the year, as they are on The Strip in Tuscaloosa, but I'm sure they're just as quick, efficient and awesome then as they were on an early Saturday morning. I will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Tuscaloosa, and hopefully all other Waffle Houses deliver the same experience as this one did. Thank you to everyone for such a great experience! ?”

We jokingly wondered if someone in their kitchen had made this and delivered it. Same as if not better quality, taste than DePalmas. Out of town had come to town, authentic taste. My child continued talking about it all the way home.I haven’t been since I was a child. Things looked different of course, but that’s to be expected. I like how you can use a card to keep track of tickets. The party clean up was quick and fast as well.”

“Brunch was lovely. They have changed the menu, however, from what is posted online, so just be aware that the offerings are slightly different. All of the food and beverages we had were delicious (omelets, biscuits & gravy, burger, Alamite plate, coffee, mimosas, espresso martinis). We will definitely be back. The only challenges we had were with the level of service. Beverages and food were slow to arrive - it took at least 15 min for beverages and food took over an hour. We were only a party of 5 and the restaurant wasn't slammed, so I'm not sure what was going on. Another party was seated after us and they were served fairly quickly and were done with their meal and gone, before we even received our food. Also, we had to request refills on coffee & mimosas. And our server did not come to check on us after our food was served until about 15 min later - a little late if we needed something. Overall, our meal lasted 1.75 hours. Luckily, we were not in a hurry.”

“As I was looking for an authentic Mexican place, I came upon Loco Lupes. I wanted queso and on the DoorDash website, this was the only place other than Socal, Chiptotle, and Central Mesa. Although those places are great, I do not like their queso very much. I have never heard of Loco Lupes but decided to give it a go. Thank goodness I did because that was one of the best quesos that I have ever had. I also got a cheese quesadilla and salsa. Both were great and I will for sure order this again. 10/10!”

“Fantastic! The huli huli chicken sandwich was incredible. I'm not normally a fry guy but the fries were delicious and well seasoned. The spicy mayo (not sure the name they called it) was amazing as well though truthfully the fries were so good without it I ended up hardly touching it. Drinks as well were so different from the 'norm' in Tuscaloosa and absolutely fantastic.
TLDR something new and different in town that is well worth your time to try out.”

“Our experience is always amazing here but this time was better than them all. From the host to our server, Quinn, the service was exceptional. I wish I could make them rich! I had the bacon burger and my bun was toasted perfectly, my patty was cooked the exact temperature, and the fries are always nice and crispy. Thank you, Quinn!!”
