“First time customer. Got the 20 inch pepperoni and the 12 inch Mama Mia. In the photo you can get an idea of the difference between a 12 inch and a 20 inch pizza by the boxes. Sorry I was too busy eating to post pictures of the actual picture.The 20 inch pizza was all you could hope for in a New York style crust. It folded well and had a good chew. IYKYK!! Even better it passed the late night or breakfast cold pizza test by not getting soggy and the crust still retaining its integrity. Also reheated well(375 for 8 min got everything warm without over crisping the crust). The 12 was fine but wasn't as tasty as I was expecting with the garlic confit. But that could just be me.Yes the price seems expensive but just from the 20 inch we got 5 meals, Dinner and lunch for 2 plus breakfast for 1, out of it. Making the cost about 8 dollars a meal. Which is less than you pay for a hamburger combo at your favorite fast food restaurant.I didn't put anything for the atmosphere because I was there at 330 in the afternoon, on a Thursday, and I was the only one there. But the staff were nice and tried to explain to me the size of the 20 inch pizza. I wouldn't say they failed as much as I would say I failed to truly understand.Best Pizza I have eaten in Tuscaloosa. Next time I am going to try the Sicilian style crust! Only recommendation I would have is that they display the pie pans so customers would get a true understanding of the size of the pizzas.?Parking: Seem to be a good number of spaces. Just be careful of the grade to the road on the entrance and exit.“
“Good was excellent, server wasn’t as attentive as she should have been. Only saw her when she took our order (which the wrong pizza was brought out, but they did bring the right one out), and brought the check. Never checked on us for refills at all. Would go back, but it will be a long time.“
“There’s often a line in front of this place, so I guess that’s a sign that it’s good. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in town. I had the diplomas signature pasta, and my wife had the shrimp scampi. The food is delicious! We had excellenttossed green salads with vinaigrette sauce. The only downside is that the food can be slightly greasy. I will be back next time for the pizza!“
“There is one young black lady in here with glasses who needs to be relieved of her duties. Her attitude is absolutely horrible and I see the way she treats customers. Her energy and spirit is bad. It doesn't take anything to be a nice person and if you wanna go home..go home. Other than that, the food here is amazing and all the rest of staff is very nice.“
“These guys do great pizza. The service is fast which is awesome for me since I'm always late for something. The food is always very hot and super fresh. I've never had a problem with customer service because they truly take pride in giving the best. I love this place.“
“I'm a fan of this place so call me biased if you want but the wings here smack. Most places in town serve tiny finger sized wings but Wheelhouse has meaty, crispy, tender wings. There's only one flavor, but it's the classic hot wing flavor with some house ranch to dip it in. Can't go wrong with a pizza or quesadilla either, but I've never tried their pasta. They regularly host events too I don't know the schedule but the activities range from casino night to a smash brothers tournament. Place has screens everywhere two pool tables, arcade basketball, photo booth darts and the hanging punching bag bar game. I've never had a problem with the staff and it's usually not too crowded unless there's an event goin on. There's typically no cover and pretty nice spot for a bite before heading out to another bar downtown. Roll Tide“
“I had a HB Pizza for halftime of the-Alabama Game and it was delicious. I think that HBPizza is my goto pizza from now on. The best thing is that they are everywhere and the Quality and quantity is the same no matter Which of the 8000 locations that you go to.“
“One of the best casual places to eat in Tuscaloosa! We have been coming to Heat since 2016. The pizza is fabulous and I highly recommend the Street Taco pizza - one of their latest specials! The bartenders are awesome and the wait staff is always fantastic. We appreciate the happy hour prices, too!“

“This is the closest you’ll get to a New York slice in the state of Alabama I dare say. I never thought I’d be a fan of this style of pizza until I tried The Standard. I also love being able to grab a cheap beer and watch some football with friends just a couple hundred feet from my apartment. I wish they’d add some more TVs though! “Best salad in town!! No one is competing with their salads, it is not even close. The flavors and variety they offer is unmatched. I will say I got the salad/soup combo and the lobster bisque was not my favorite. It wasn't very hot and it did not have the best seasonings. It was sweet which was not my favorite however the salad made up for it. The service is super fast. They can handle a lot of volume and are in their element even with busy/large crowds. Staff was super attentive and the atmosphere was really up beat. We sat on the patio and it was a great spot for lunch. Will be back for amazing salads!!“
“we found this place on a whim parents weekend. So glad we did. The food was phenomenal and service was just as great. They got a big crowd all at once and never wavered with their service. Such a neat place! good music too! Even my college aged daughter said she would have to make it one of her spots to frequent. Definitely give them a visit. You won't be disappointed!“
