Having never visited Tuscaloosa before, this place was recommended as Bear Bryant's favorite place to eat Sunday breakfast after a game on Saturday, so we went and we weren't disappointed.The inside is small and quaint, but adequate and if you're not in a hurry, the service is friendly and recommendations are honest!The price is great for portion size and the ambiance of all the Alabama memorabilia is fantastic
Had a late breakfast at this landmark in Tuscaloosa. The food, service, and the atmosphere was excellent. The ladies went above and beyond making our meal great. The food was delicious and reminded me of my Mama's breakfast. Will definitely be visiting again.Food: 5/5

You can’t beat this restaurant for an excellent southern breakfast! The pancakes and biscuits are the best you will find anywhere! I had the grilled pork chop breakfast and my wife had the smoked sausage. The service was excellent at 9 am on a Thursday morning. The biscuits are like momma used to make. The one shortcoming was the sausage gravy. It was water thin and not very flavorful. However the grits were excellent.
