“Jack's is one of those rare food places that the food ninety percent of the time is really good. I don't feel like i'm eating some fake processed food, like so many other fast food places. I don't feel guilty for feeding my children their dinner. For a quick bite to eat you can never go wrong eating there. Don't even get me started on their breakfast i'd be four hundred pounds if I could eat there every morning. Lol“

“I just wanted to take a moment to recognize the amazing customer service I received today at Milo’s. I went through the drive-thru, and from the very beginning, everyone was kind, professional, and welcoming.

The woman who helped me with my order—the one with the beautiful gray/salt-and-pepper hair—was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, patient, knowledgeable about the menu, and helped me place my order with such a positive attitude. You could tell she genuinely enjoys helping customers, and her kindness made a lasting impression on me.

The young man at the window was just as polite and respectful. It’s rare to experience such genuine kindness from multiple employees during one visit, and they both made the experience enjoyable.

I was also impressed by how fast everything was. The drive-thru moved quickly, and my food was ready in no time. Even better, it came out hot, fresh, and exactly as I ordered it. Fast service without sacrificing quality is something that deserves recognition.

I’ll be honest—I was a little skeptical about stopping at this location because of the reputation the Parkway area sometimes has. This was my first visit to this Milo’s location in over six years, and I’m so glad I decided to give it another chance. They completely exceeded my expectations.

Great customer service is becoming harder to find, so I believe it should be acknowledged when people get it right. Thank you to the woman with the gray/salt-and-pepper hair, the young man at the window, and the rest of the team for making my visit such a pleasant one. Your friendliness, professionalism, efficiency, and the quality of the food did not go unnoticed. “I picked up my take out order. I told the staff I needed the strawberry shake. I was told a couple minutes later it was in the bag. I checked and I could see the top of the cup so I left. Got home and it was vanilla. My husband ordered the hot ones burger and there was a quarter size of sauce in the middle of the top bun. His burger was basically dry. My bacon burger was cooked too long, part of it was not edible because it was hard as a rock. This was my first time coming here and I don't plan on returning.“

“Quite possibly the best fried chicken I've had. Picked some up for lunch, grabbed the boom boom sauce for the name alone. Turned out to be a game changer for me. Fries weren't anything to write home about, but they rarely are. The only downside about eating this is knowing I can't get it back in Atlanta.“

“I was visiting from out of town and found this drive thru on my way to try another place. What a wonderful find this was!

I had a burger, with onion rings, a Mr. Pibb, and banana pudding. The burger is one of the better burgers I have had. It was cooked perfectly with lots of flavor and not dry. The sliced tomato on it was a big ol' slice. Not short cuts were taken. The onion rings were good and I loved the banana pudding.

The time from when I placed my order to when I got my food seemed a little long. But it was worth the wait, and I suspect it was because they were making the burger fresh by the order instead of reheating it.

“I saw a review on here about someone had the special BBQ Brisket Steakburger and decided I would try it but never got to do it until today and was surprised they still had it going on. LOVED IT!! The BBQ sauce is sweet yet tangy but not overpowering like many BBQ places. The brisket on top of the double steakburgers were plenty and each strip was really meaty and not loaded with a lot of fat like other BBQ places. The pickles and sweet onions on top were a kicker also as they really added to the flavor with every bite. I am glad I had a big hungry appetite though because that burger was more than enough for a meal especially the healthy helping of shoe string fries!! Well done also to the staff for the prompt service from the moment I walked in with a welcome to Freddy's and the friendly smile of the cashier and the thank you from the cook when I picked up my order at the service counter!! Impressive for a fast food operation, but I will admit that having good employees to pass on the right attitude when working is important and this crew made the grade on that and more!! Jake and I went Sunday and got that, we called in our order and the employee told us they dont normally mix and match on that deal, but ended up doing it for me. We got the fish sandwhich all the way and the phillybcheestake all the way and boy it was amazing. The fish sandwhich is huuuugee and is so good, and the Philly cheesestake was so good too. It was a little smaller than I thought, but still hot and fresh.
The deal, plus two drinks was less than $15.00! Great pricing!
All in all would recommend this place anyday, anytime!

I have always regarded Chick-fil-A as a company that sets the standard for exceptional customer service, which is why my experience at Chick-fil-A in McCalla was so disappointing.

About a year ago, Sydney, the Marketing Coordinator at the McCalla Chick-fil-A, graciously offered our church, Friendship Baptist Church, 59 cards for free chicken biscuits to use on our church trip to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. Because we were still in the planning stages, I was told there was no time restriction and that I simply needed to call when our departure date was finalized.

When it came time for our trip, I contacted Sydney, who informed me she was no longer in that role but assured me the offer would still be honored. She referred me to April, the new marketing representative. April was very kind and told me she didn't anticipate any issues but needed to discuss it with the restaurant manager before confirming.

Unfortunately, after waiting several weeks without hearing back, I contacted April again and was told that management had decided they no longer provide those promotional cards. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. More importantly, our congregation—many of whom are senior citizens—was disappointed because I had already shared the good news that Chick-fil-A would be providing complimentary chicken biscuits for our trip.

Thankfully, this story has a much better ending.

I reached out to the Chick-fil-A at Midtown Plaza in Birmingham and spoke with Tucker, one of the managers. After hearing what had happened, Tucker immediately stepped in to help. Not only did he honor the original commitment by providing the 59 breakfast cards, but he also contacted the Chick-fil-A in Kentucky to ensure they would accept the cards when our group arrived.

Tucker demonstrated the level of customer service that has made Chick-fil-A's reputation so strong. His willingness to help restored our faith in the Chick-fil-A brand.

As a person of faith, this experience reminded me that God always has a ram in the bush. While one location was unable to keep its promise, God provided someone else who could. Thank you, Tucker, for your kindness, integrity, and willingness to serve our church family. You made a lasting impression on all of us.“
