“I was on my way to airport and stopped at this gem. The sweet older couple working behind the counter welcomed me in and had me sit at the main counter.
The menu is limited, but I had no issue. The burger was incredible, and the other menu items looked great going to other tables.
Ill be sure to return when I'm back!“

“Went in to grab a quick lunch and chose the Italian sub. Everything on it was fresh and the meat used was of good quality as well. It's nice to be able to get a sub and actually taste the individual ingredients instead of the usual bland mess thrown at us by most chains.“

“I hope this is a one time thing but I was so disappointed in my meal today. I love JJ, and I never thought I’d have anything negative to say but my sandwich left so much to be desired. No lettuce was on it and it was mostly bread with very little avocado. I’ve had the veggie many times before mostly at other locations and it’s never looked like this. Pic attached.“

“To anyone having to visit UAB Hospital or Kirkland Clinic-do yourself a favor and plan to eat here. Not only is the food far better than you would expect, the service is 5 star! The ladies behind the counter are friendly, courteous, and willing to make your meal just how you like it.Discovering Cora Lee’s breakfast potatoes is life changing, well, meal changing at least. Her smile will make you glad you came even if you don’t like potatoes.Do yourself a favor, skip the hospital cafeteria and take the elevator down to street level instead.If you can and wish to, show the team here some love by leaving a tip. These days good help is hard to find but awesome help is a real pleasure.“

“My friend and I come here late nights very often. KP is there every night and HB is there with him sometimes. Very friendly people. KP is there often alone and still remain friendly to customers while slammed with door dash orders also. My favorite late night stop.“

“Every time I go to the subway, I am greeted by name, and every employee E. is so nice the food is always delicious and it’s always a pleasant experience. if I’ve been having a bad day I go eat Subway for lunch just so I can have a good smile put on my face because everybody is so nice that works there. “Walking in I noticed how immaculately clean this place was. The girls making the sandwiches looked less than thrilled to be there but the cashier (Chris I think, he had long red hair) was an absolute delight and happily took my order. The sub was WONDERFUL. They use quality ingredients and it's a million times better than Subway. I usually don't come here because it is a bit pricey (large combo was $20) but I had the craving and just had to come by. One of the best subs I've ever had.“

“I ordered on Thursday, September 26th and the man who brought my food was kind, friendly, and extremely fast. I normally order well in advance from here because there have been times it has taken over an hour for the food to come, but he had it in my hand in about 20 minutes. I hope this is a consistent change for this location as the food is always good.“

“Brought my mom for lunch. I ordered The Chick with Fancy Nancy and mac-n-cheese. I like the apples, nuts, and grapes in Fancy Nancy. I did not enjoy the mac-n-cheese. It wasn’t very flavorful and seemed over cooked to me. It seemed like a weird color. That’s what made me think it was overcooked. I wish I had gotten the spinach salad instead of the mac-n-cheese. The spinach salad was great last time. I just thought I would try something different. My mom said her was ok.“

“Not sure about why the previous r a c i s t woman was complaining about but for me this Subway is one of the best with the most friendliest and cleanest staff. Just check their health score. Maybe she confused it for another Subway she has beef with, since no one wears aprons at this location. But for me the best Subway so far! Food is fresh and portions are great! I’ve been coming here for months!“

“My go to place for a good fast meal. The subs I get are just the way I want. The service is great. However, I am perplexed that the establishment is void of customers when I visit after work hours. Good for me on my way to an event at the BJCC or the not to far away high school.

Parking: Parking is in rear of building away from the front entrance.“

“The service could definitely be friendlier but the food was good,fresh veggies and meat though the condiments are a bit bland but you get in and out and there is indoor and outdoor dining areas as most of the restaurants in the area have and the sandwiches go down easily but the drinks tasted a little funny ,other than that this a good place to eat and cheap as well“

“The food is alright but they are always stingy with the veggies and whenever I get the chicken and bacon ranch melt it always come with the pre scooped meat and always only have like 5 in each tray. They only give you 2 trays per foot long.“

“My photos are from two separate visits to Firehouse Subs. During my first visit, the experience was fantastic—I was in and out in no time, thanks to a short line. The second time I visited, the line was nearly out the door, so I decided to leave, not because of the food, but simply because I didn't have time to wait.

This location is clean, with friendly and efficient staff. There's ample seating both inside and outside. Being situated at the end of the shopping center makes the outdoor seating particularly pleasant, as there's limited traffic and noise. I will definitely visit again and hope the line will be a bit shorter next time.“

“I ordered through the app! Asked for extra mayonnaise and got no mayonnaises! Good thing I was headed to the house, because my sandwich tasted like pure mustard, but I only ordered regular mustard! The woman behind the counter kept charging a patient like $3.00 for a small drink! The service was awful and the cashier seemed to speak little English! “Moleke is the man, always remembers My name and my order.always friendly and professional to everyone I see him interact with. Honestly I think he has too much talent for his position. When other employees might be goofing off (so it seems) moleke is back there holding it down..he deserves a promotion and a big raise. Good help is hard to find. Better appreciate when you have such a stellar employee.“

“Years ago, i contacted Google to get this place correctly listed. And, back then, they had a good staff. Now, i'm not so sure about this new crew. They have strange hours and i've seen the place closed on a Saturday and the "open" sign running at 3:45am.“
