“I was craving some good chicken tenders and coleslaw. I remembered seeing this place and wanted to try it out. 10/10 in my opinion. The chicken tenders are so tasty and the sauces are all great. We tried bbq sauce, honey mustard and ranch. We also had the fries which were amazing! We will definitely be back to try other things on the menu and to try some of the custard. The price for 7 tenders, regular fry, coleslaw and 2 extra sauces came out to a little over 20 bucks.“

“This past weekend, we went to Pizza Grace because the original owners sold it to the owners of Big Spoon Creamery. So, out of fear and curiosity, we wanted to see if our favorite pizza place was still our favorite pizza place. Let’s just start. The garlic bread they switched the focaccia with pizza dough, spread fairly thin so it was light and crispy and they swapped the garlic oil for garlic butter with herbs. This was actually really good! We both enjoyed it and thought the flavor of the butter was way better than the original garlic olive oil spread. However, I think they should have kept the focaccia bread and just swapped the olive oil with the garlic and herb butter. That would have been an easy 10/10. But unfortunately, even though it was still very good, it gets an 8.5/10. The pizza itself was still basically the same. We got the pepperoni pizza. Upon arrival and tasting, we could tell they cut back on the red pepper flakes, which we were both happy about. Our main issue was the fact that we could tell, visually, the pizza was smaller and not as big as it used to be. We didn’t like that we were paying basically the same price for less pizza. I’d recommend either making the pizzas bigger again or lowering the price. This also would have been a 10/10, but we’re taking off points for the pizza being visibly smaller and giving it a 9.5/10. For dessert, I got the Big Spoon Bar, which has fior di latte, salted caramel, TCHO chocolate, sea salt, and hazelnut in it. No notes here easy 10/10. I literally could not complain. First bite was heaven! All in all, this was very good with only a few minor disappointments. Is this still my favorite pizza place? Yes. Will I return? Yes, I will but I also think it depends on whether they adjust the price or return the pizza to its original size. That’s literally just how we feel since we’ve been going there for years. “UAB location is awesome. I have visited this located several times and always clean, friendly, and food always good. I normally do online order and my order always ready when I arrive. I ate there with my mother once and it was nice and pleasant. We sat outside on the patio.“

“Today was my first visit..the freshness of the food and the environment was great. I got a bowl (chicken & steak). The steak was too tough for my liking. However, the flavors in the bowl made.me just put it to the side. Next time I'll stick with chicken and ill have to try the glazed salmon. I will be back.“

“Food is good when it's made right. I get the same thing every time, but it's never made the same. I picked up a Newks Q pizza just now that I ordered with no jalapeños. I did check it before I left, and it appeared fine. But whoever made it took it upon them selves to make the pizza with no sauce or chili either. I know what the sauce looks like. That pizza was dry AF. Super disappointing when you pay almost $20 for one pizza with a tip.“

“Edgar's has always had some of the best pastries in town. The customer service and atmosphere is amazing. The staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the food is always on point. The menu varies from breakfast to lunch to desserts to celebrations. Everything you want or need is in one place.“

Synetric greeted me and asked me how I was doing, told me about the breakfast buffet (which was a nice quality and selection of eggs, sausage, bacon, fresh fruit, grits, oatmeal & pastries) and was able to get me my coffee to go. “Went to 2 different locations before visiting Prive/Palace. You get entry to the restaurant for free and the club in back for $10. Security will check you before entering and parking spaces were nice.

“The only thing we really don't like about the Olive Garden restaurant in Trussville is they quit issuing your Tab you have to pay it thru a IPad that doesn't get it right , Hoovers Olive Garden doesn't do that we prefer eating there much better but my daughter and son-in-law likes the Trussville one better so that's why we had to eat there at the Trussville one for 2 of our Grandkids birthdays last night“

The new layout of the parking lot is a bit weird, and the employees do their best and are all very polite, but you run the risk of becoming trapped in the drive thru if theres any kind of hold up ahead of you, bc theres no way to exit the lanes after you get into them due to the new parking lot layout.Recommend ordering on the app and picking up in store or getting curbside to avoid the drive thru, esp if you have anxiety or any agoraphobic tendencies related to driving“

I have always regarded Chick-fil-A as a company that sets the standard for exceptional customer service, which is why my experience at Chick-fil-A in McCalla was so disappointing.

About a year ago, Sydney, the Marketing Coordinator at the McCalla Chick-fil-A, graciously offered our church, Friendship Baptist Church, 59 cards for free chicken biscuits to use on our church trip to the Ark Encounter in Kentucky. Because we were still in the planning stages, I was told there was no time restriction and that I simply needed to call when our departure date was finalized.

When it came time for our trip, I contacted Sydney, who informed me she was no longer in that role but assured me the offer would still be honored. She referred me to April, the new marketing representative. April was very kind and told me she didn't anticipate any issues but needed to discuss it with the restaurant manager before confirming.

Unfortunately, after waiting several weeks without hearing back, I contacted April again and was told that management had decided they no longer provide those promotional cards. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. More importantly, our congregation—many of whom are senior citizens—was disappointed because I had already shared the good news that Chick-fil-A would be providing complimentary chicken biscuits for our trip.

Thankfully, this story has a much better ending.

I reached out to the Chick-fil-A at Midtown Plaza in Birmingham and spoke with Tucker, one of the managers. After hearing what had happened, Tucker immediately stepped in to help. Not only did he honor the original commitment by providing the 59 breakfast cards, but he also contacted the Chick-fil-A in Kentucky to ensure they would accept the cards when our group arrived.

Tucker demonstrated the level of customer service that has made Chick-fil-A's reputation so strong. His willingness to help restored our faith in the Chick-fil-A brand.

As a person of faith, this experience reminded me that God always has a ram in the bush. While one location was unable to keep its promise, God provided someone else who could. Thank you, Tucker, for your kindness, integrity, and willingness to serve our church family. You made a lasting impression on all of us.“
