“We came in with like 30 people and the legends here accommodated us with exceptionally prestigious service. We all got our food to perfection. In-N-Out got nothing on the 2259 Mt Olive Rd, Gardendale, AL 35071 Jack's Family Restaurant.“

“I typically don't review fast food places but I felt I needed to after visiting DQ in Gardendale today. We dropped in for a sweet treat only to be met with the sweetest manager too. She was very personable and so nice. It almost felt like she went out of her way, and unlike so many people on these type jobs, she appeared to really love her job and her customers.“

“Yes, with the caveat, bring plenty of money. Fish & Chicken meal with a large drink was $16! Also, don't order green beans - they were straight out of the can. Very disappointing.“

“Food was hot and accurate. Manager was friendly. Restaurant appeared clean, including the restroom. The woman standing at the register however doing nothing didn't even great me or say a word to me. She just stood there with a big frown on her face and hand on her hip. Also, why charge $0.40 just to add mayo? I've never been to a McDonald's that charges to remove ketchup, mustard, and add mayo. I just don't think it's fair to charge to substitute a sauce for another. The owners of this location must be very greedy.“

“Today 10-06-2023 went to have breakfast with my wife. After waiting at the counter for several minutes, the cashier finally acknowledged me. I tried to order two breakfast plates and she. Told me we don’t have any grits. We left with no food. Service was bad and food was disappointing!!! Not first time to be disappointed, but first time to complain!!!“

“The original late night place to grab something to eat at. Not many of these around anymore and well some of the locations that are still around may not actually be open late nowadays. But I still support the lil square bunned burger even when the cost has went from .35 cents each and a combo coming in at around $3.50 from back in the day to now days ur doing good if get a combo for under $10 and if want cheese then another $1 per slice.. But they still hit that spot at times and they always have had the best Cokes and still do of any food place there is..“

“Just picked up a bowl today and I have to admit this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at chipotle. The staff was extremely friendly and my order took all of 5 minutes to make. Everything was fresh so I left a tip! I will continue to come here instead of the downtown location.“

You can literally get a live chicken, kill it, pluck it, clean it, cut and batter the thing, then cook it and eat it in less time than to go they y’all’s drive thru.... “Wow, I think this is the best Papa John’s I have been to all around Birmingham. I ordered a large pizza and to papa-dillas today. Both were really fresh tasting, fresh ingredients, perfect temperature, tasted wonderful. I was starting to lose hope in fast food. If you want good pizza near Gardendale, this is the place. Great job!“
