What a great find today in Birmingham. The BLT made with Milk bread was great!!!! Girl! The white chocolate bread pudding with strawberries and rhubarb totally off the chain. Finished with a delicious cup of black coffee. Get yourself there now you’ll enjoy it.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. First time their so we asked the server what their favorite was and it did not disappoint. Sandwich was very tasty and with the chips was perfect for lunch. Others were getting amazing looking meals around us so we plan to return soon and start our journey through the very tasty looking menu items.
I came here primarily for the live music but I also got dessert and a glass of wine. The chocolate tart was delicious and the live band was amazing. The venue has very good acoustics, and cool jazzy esthetic . I sat at a small table near the windows and those chairs are not comfortable at all lol. Otherwise a great experience and I will be back.

High Dive HiFi Lounge is a neat concept with a very pretty inside and a nice outdoor patio featuring fire pits, chairs, and heaters. The atmosphere is great, with an immaculate sound system and crazy acoustics that allow for easy conversation even when packed. The space is a gift to Birmingham, offering NYC quality food without insane prices.
The food is excellent, phenomenal, and spectacular. Dishes are delicious and everything looked great. Specific items praised include the traditional cappuccinos, the BLT, the black bean bread pudding, the old fashioned, the egg & cheese sandwich on Japanese milk bread, the pork katsu, and the fried deviled eggs. The only noted exception was the pimento cheese sandwich. Drinks are also great.
Service is friendly and extremely kind, with fast service during less busy times like lunch counter service. However, during busy times, operational issues can lead to a bit of chaotic experience with long waits for a table and for service at the table. The music can be very loud, not chill and relaxing as expected, and tables are super close together. The process requires ordering at the counter before finding a seat. They do not take reservations for lunch or dinner, even on nights with live music, so arriving early is recommended. It is a spot to be checked out, preferably during less crowded times.
