“Best ceviche I have ever had - and I’m from a costal state where it’s very popular. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was awesome! I had the Masa Custed Trout - 10 out of 10!! My son had Barbaccoa quesadilla, it was great too! Little one had a bacon quesadilla he ate ALL of it shocking for put 9 yo! Seriously though, go! You won’t regret it!!“

“This has quickly become one of my husband's favorite restaurants. The food and drinks are great, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is bright and upbeat. We have recently made this our go to Saturday night spot. We also recommend for kids if you can't find a sitter. Ours love to look at the interior and eat chips and queso.“

“First time here and it didnt disappoint! Only thing was, the rice and chicken (from fajita) could have been more seasoned.
Our waitress, it was her birthday, and she was the sweetest thing! We asked for the spicest sauce they had, and i wish we couldve gone hotter! Thanks for a great time and Happy Bday!

“The food here was amazing.. They prepared my food fast but the only problem I had is when I came in with my Service dog, which had Service dog jacket on was told that I had to leave. I told him she was a service dog and he said he didn’t care and I told him that he might have the ADA down here if he doesn’t let me order some food and go then he let me come in and get my food. My dog was properly marked with a jacket service dog maybe they need to be educated about Service dog in the ADA.“

“Last night, May 22nd, my daughter graduated and my family and I went to Baja after the ceremony. They were so busy but our service was wonderful. Our server, Will, had multiple tables with big parties and he made sure to check on us as much as possible and apologized for being all over the place. He was absolutely wonderful and dispute him having multiple big parties our service was still great!“

“Had a great time here! Had the smoked chicken quesadilla and the strawberry and dragonfruit agua Fresca and it DID NOT disappoint! Had an amazing server (Aspen) who was happy to ensure we enjoyed every aspect of the meal. The booths are a bit uncomfortable because the tables don’t overlap the seats very well, but other than that, this place is a must-try!“

“Stopped in on trip to Birmingham and were pleasantly surprised at our good luck. The food was nicely presented and delicious. We had combo plates with chicken and it was moist and tender. Chips and salsa was spicy and delicious. Quicamole Mexican was fresh, made with chunks of avocado, onions, tomato, and cilantro. We will be back.“

“Ordered 4 chicken tacos & 4 steak tacos...I will say not enough sauce to even put on your tacos...very dry with the sauce provided. I got the green and red sauce (2 each provided) for 8 tacos; oh, and a steak burrito w/o beans. Was not very satisfying for the money spent. Please ask for a LOT of sauce if you get this order...I mean a lot.“

“Best tacos hands down. Tacos are always packed with lots of meat and served w/ grilled nopales (cactus) and cebollita taquera(green onion). They give you green and red salsa bottles to take to your table to enjoy throughout your meal. For drinks they offer Jarritos or agua frescas. Aside from tacos they also have quesadillas, pambazos, burritos, etc.“

“I’m way behind in offering a recommendation for the Homewood location of Maya. Between there and the Alabaster location, my Mexican food cravings are more than covered and they are always patient with my substitutions and the like. “This place is so so good! I go here almost every month and I am obsessed. The food is SO delicious and the service is even better. If you enjoy authentic Mexican food I definitely recommend!! “Thank you all for accommodating our party of 18 very last minute… These guys are great. Literally called from Logan’s and asked if they’d accommodate our party due to poor service at Logan’s. They said yes come on. We walked across the parking lot walked in stood for less than 5 mins and they had us set up and ready to go. Food was fantastic… All the staff were so friendly.. Our waitress was exceptional. She handled our big crowd perfectly.. Highly recommend trying the fresh guacamole 🤩. If you want good food and good service definitely try them out…“
