Mexican Restaurants near Fultondale

“Thank you all for accommodating our party of 18 very last minute… These guys are great. Literally called from Logan’s and asked if they’d accommodate our party due to poor service at Logan’s. They said yes come on. We walked across the parking lot walked in stood for less than 5 mins and they had us set up and ready to go. Food was fantastic… All the staff were so friendly.. Our waitress was exceptional. She handled our big crowd perfectly.. Highly recommend trying the fresh guacamole 🤩. If you want good food and good service definitely try them out…“

“Staff is always friendly and very helpful. My husband loves to practice his Spanish here and they are always trying to help. He asked how to say something in Spanish and our waiter was kind enough to write the phrase down for him. Food and drinks are great. Gracias mis Amigos!“

“We stopped at this Taco Bell on our way back from the lake house this weekend. It was a good trip, we went swimming, the dogs had fun in the water, and we watched Black Hawk Down.

On the way back, I was getting sleepy and a bit peckish, and I asked if Claire wanted to drive for a while. We pulled into the Taco Bell parking lot and decided to get some Taco Bell to eat.

It was fresh, the tomatoes were crisp, the lettuce was crisp, and they remembered to not include sour cream on the Crunchwrap.

We also used the bathrooms, which were clean too 🤩

Now claire is driving and I’m in the passenger seat. As the man, it’s a little weird to have her driving, but I was getting sleepy and a bit peckish.“

“The absolute sweetest customer service, best atmosphere, and delicious food! 10/10 recommend! 💚“

“Best ceviche I have ever had - and I’m from a costal state where it’s very popular. The atmosphere was great and our waiter was awesome! I had the Masa Custed Trout - 10 out of 10!! My son had Barbaccoa quesadilla, it was great too! Little one had a bacon quesadilla he ate ALL of it shocking for put 9 yo! Seriously though, go! You won’t regret it!!“

“Best tacos I’ve had in a while!! Definitely will be back.“

“Some of the very best Mexican food we have in our city! We eat here once a week and absolutely love it! (This and El Barrio) The guacamole and the cheese dip are so yummy and the steak tacos are phenomenal! Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is so enjoyable. Great patio seating too.“

“Everything was great at Taco Mama’s. The salad was big enough for 2 people, food was very good, and staff was friendly and checked several times on us.“

“Extremely kind and professional staff. They processed our catering order on short notice. Micah was so kind and respectful. The food was amazing and so delicious. Thank you for making our managers lunch a big success! Pat, St. Martin’s in the Pines“

“Great food and fast service. I loved the free chips and salsa. I ate way too many of them. My burrito was excellent and the fried ice cream dessert was amazing. It was definitely big enough to share. The service was friendly and the food was very quick. The restaurant filled up while we were there with people waiting to be seated which means it was popular with the locals. Enjoy.“

“great place to eat and friendly staff“

“The food here was amazing.. They prepared my food fast but the only problem I had is when I came in with my Service dog, which had Service dog jacket on was told that I had to leave. I told him she was a service dog and he said he didn’t care and I told him that he might have the ADA down here if he doesn’t let me order some food and go then he let me come in and get my food. My dog was properly marked with a jacket service dog maybe they need to be educated about Service dog in the ADA.“

“Everything was wonderful. We went out for mother's day and they gave out roses for the mothers. The food was delicious and they brought us extra napkins I forgot to bring for the cake (it had been my mom's birthday 2 days before) our server was excellent too. I can't thank them enough for their kindness.“

“En Taquería Valencia se destacan por hacer una comida mexicana superdeliciosa. Y la atención es excelente.“

“Delicious food - highly recommend the tingas nachos! Will definitely be back the next time we are in Birmingham. Great food and awesome service!“

“Lucas, at the location in Homewood made me a Bloody Mary to die for. It was literally the best I've had and I'm 50. His personality, skill, and kind ora was the highlight of my day. It's not everyday that you find good food, good drinks, and wonderful customer service. Go by and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed...pinky promise✨️
P.S. Lucas is very easy on the eyes, you can't/ won't miss him.“

“The Birria Pizza is amazing or as my husband says, "damn, that's good!!" The tamales were delicious and the fruit and cream is a yummy dessert! These are great people go support them and eat some of their delicious food!“

“I’m way behind in offering a recommendation for the Homewood location of Maya. Between there and the Alabaster location, my Mexican food cravings are more than covered and they are always patient with my substitutions and the like. Service is top-notch and the food is excellent. Highly recommended!“

“The Birria tacos was very good.“

“I haven’t been over to see Jamié in many years. Still number one.“

“We had another delicious, affordable meal from Panchos yesterday. This place is consistent, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the food is scrumptious. It’s definitely our go-to for Mexican food in the area. Thanks, guys! Y’all rock!!“

“Without a doubt the best Sopes around. The tamale was delicious as well. Service was great. Why don't all Mexican restaurants have Sopes? These were fantastic!“

“Stopped in on trip to Birmingham and were pleasantly surprised at our good luck. The food was nicely presented and delicious. We had combo plates with chicken and it was moist and tender. Chips and salsa was spicy and delicious. Quicamole Mexican was fresh, made with chunks of avocado, onions, tomato, and cilantro. We will be back.“

“Definitely recommend this place 10 out 10“

“Best tacos hands down. Tacos are always packed with lots of meat and served w/ grilled nopales (cactus) and cebollita taquera(green onion). They give you green and red salsa bottles to take to your table to enjoy throughout your meal. For drinks they offer Jarritos or agua frescas. Aside from tacos they also have quesadillas, pambazos, burritos, etc.“

“The food and service was incredible, but the fried avocado was so different and delicious! It was amazing! I wish they had a location in Mobile!“

“Ordered 4 chicken tacos & 4 steak tacos...I will say not enough sauce to even put on your tacos...very dry with the sauce provided. I got the green and red sauce (2 each provided) for 8 tacos; oh, and a steak burrito w/o beans. Was not very satisfying for the money spent. Please ask for a LOT of sauce if you get this order...I mean a lot.“

“This has quickly become one of my husband's favorite restaurants. The food and drinks are great, the service is fast, and the atmosphere is bright and upbeat. We have recently made this our go to Saturday night spot. We also recommend for kids if you can't find a sitter. Ours love to look at the interior and eat chips and queso.“

“The service was great! Def recommend America!! She is friendly and sweet. The food came out fast and was very good.“

“The best food and great service!“

“We had tasty burritos. Mine was a fine mushroom and pork one. The atmosphere is quite good. And the wait staff is friendly. Will be going back for more. Recommended for certain.“

“If you like Mexican food and want a healthier option, you should definitely give QDOBA a try! The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and there are plenty of customizable options to fit your taste or dietary preferences. One of the best perks is that the guacamole and queso are included at no extra charge, unlike many other Mexican bowl places. The food is always flavorful, and everything tastes fresh. The staff is friendly, service is quick, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Overall, it’s a great value for the quality and portion size, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a delicious, filling meal at a reasonable price!“

“Atmosphere, service, and food were amazing. Sat at the bar and the bartender was so friendly and attentive. Skinny margarita was delicious. We had the dip trio and all three were delicious. The fiesta salad add chicken was amazing. So flavorful. Huge portion. The salsa is yummy and all the best flavors.“
