Great for your standard tex mex. Margaritas were watery/flavorless. Caritas and asada meats were cooked great, and plenty of flavor! First time I had flour tortillas on street tacos. Probably a party foul! Haha, but it was great!
As an Alabama native who is learning more about Latin cuisine through my extended family, this is a great local chain and I’m happy to learn about it.The handmade and painted decor is very colorful and makes it feel like you’re really in Mexico. The service was fantastic. Tacos were done just the way we like them with roasted Jalapeño and Green Onion and a homemade salsa on the side that really kicks. Sometimes, when I order via DoorDash, my order doesn’t always come how I want it to, but 1 phone call & the El Patron team will definitely go out of their way to make things right! Great customer service, along with GREAT food! I literally order from them weekly! I wish I could give them 10 stars!
