“Fantastic burria tacos right in Calera at the Citgo gas station! Off to the left hand side if you're facing the gas station from the main road (31), and at the intersection of 31 & 22. Delicious, fried on the flat top. I ordered mild, and this delicious au jus to dip the tacos into!!! Yummy!!!I highly recommend them!!!“
“I’ve had Boss Bogg several times already and I’m about to dig into some low country chicken bog for the 4th or 5th time. This is, hands down, my fiancé and I’s favorite food truck. We absolutely love it. If you like messy, flavorful, wholesome southern goodness GO HERE. No need to thank me :) it’s owned by the sweetest family, they are always so friendly and I cannot stress enough how good the food is. I’ve had the Mac n cheese burger, the chicken bog, shrimp n grits and meatloaf. It’s all amazing, and I don’t even like meat loaf!!“
“We stumbled upon El Taco Truck on our way to Birmingham. So glad we stopped by. The menu is simplistic with a wide variety of meats. The restaurant also serves fried plantains, churros, and street corn in a cup.I opted for two chicken & one tripe taco. Very flavorful and fresh. Served with a grilled Serrano pepper! ? My husband ordered the BBQ Beef burrito. It was packed with flavor, stuffed, and fresh. We will definitely stop by again.“
“Since moving to Alabaster I have been incredibly disappointed with the Mexican food in the area. I finally figured out I just need to go to the trucks in the area or to Pelham. This is by far my favorite little place to eat by me if I'm craving some tacos.“
