First time visiting this Captain D's. It was good. The cashier was very nice, the restaurant was clean, my food came out quickly. The only reason the food gets 4 stars is because it's hard to give a national fast food chain 5 stars, since I know there's better fried fish you can find from local spots.
Kudos to D's for finally bringing back my favorite sauce. Sweet & sour.

Service was excellent and fast, even with a brand new guy ringing me up. Would have given 5 stars, except they now charge extra for okra and corn. That's on corporate. I hope they have the decency to pass that price gouging onto their employees' paychecks.
Staff has always been great, so let me be clear about that up front. My low rating is because the brand changed their type of fish. It used to be delicate and flaky. Now it’s dull, dense and garbage quality fish. Such a shame. Captain D’s was my favorite fast food place to go. End of an era, I guess, because if this is the way it’ll be then the brand is dead to me.

Always freezing cold inside, no ice in the soda fountain.. employees talking loudly to each other that the entire restaurant can hear their conversations. Food is cooked to order

I don't know how they managed to do this but every time I order they leave out my okra. We have 3 people in my house and it's always my food that something is left out. Today it was shrimp that was left out. Get it together Captain D's
