I went inside at 11:20 to order lunch and stood there for 7 minutes before I saw the first employee. They clearly knew they had customers waiting. Anyways I ordered a number 1 combo, the one "without cheese" (regular crystal burgers) for $8+ dollars. She told me my total was $14+.... I explained that something is wrong. I ordered the #1 combo reg. crystals with reg. drink, reg. fries for $8 as advertised. Amazingly this turned into extremely confusing ordeal for the cashier and the manager. They kept telling me that the order comes with chili cheese fries and 10 Krystal burgers. I continued to tell them I did not order anything like that, I ordered the #1 regular Crystal combo and I was specific with no "cheese". (So why the hell would I want chili cheese fries???) anyways I thought I finally got my order and the refund was such an ordeal I told them to just give me one more Krystal hamburger and we will call it even. I get my food and surprise all the crystals have have cheese on them!?! It's been a long time since I've dealt with employees and managers that are completely clueless or just that stupid... It's a new store you think they would want to make a good impression. Corporat office is not looking to hire someone with a little bit of common Sense. At the minimum you will wait 5 to 10 minutes before someone even comes and take your order, and the chance of getting your order correct and not overpaying is slim. Just go across the street to Jack's.

Wow! So great to see a new Krystal in the area. The food is always hot and fresh! The dining area is spotless! The people working there are SO NICE! I've been to a few really disappointing Krystal locations (looking at you Hoover) in the last few years and this one just completely knocks it out of the park.
Bravo, Calera Krystal. Please keep up the gold standard you've set for all other Krystal locations.

Absolutely worst service ever. I stand out front for atleast 10 minutes before anything be comes to the register. This has happened everyday of the week. Why even stay open if you can’t take one simple order in a timely manner and you’re not even busy.
This a model example of a good Krystal Burger. It's brand new clean and delicious. It's near the Shelby county airport off I-65 in a brand new Valero gas station.
