I absolutely love this place! I was blown away on my first visit! The food was amazing, and there were so many options to choose from. I was very pleased with the wine and flight options as well. The atmosphere and staff were very warm and inviting. Ozan is my new favorite place to venture to. This is truly a gem and sight to see!!

Our group had reservations for the wine tasting and train ride this weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting experience. We actually purchased wine to take home.

We are concerned about the train ride experience. We rode down the 6 mile track with little to no aesthetically pleasing view for approximately 30-45 minutes then we backed up the same track, with the same view.  So, we are not sure of the purpose of the  train ride. It was not the train ride experience that we were expecting.

Please enlighten me on trackside train experience. There was no verbal tour guide nor information shared during the train experience. What was the purpose?

Nice relaxing outing for my wife and I. Staff was nice and the food was absolutely great. Not the biggest wine drinker but the tasting experience was cool.

Really fun train adventure, good winery, good distillery. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The blueberry port is particularly nice.

Good wine and bourbon. Nice establishment. But not a fan of the train. Maybe you should try events that don't require a ride on the train. You're missing out a what could be regulars

I can't understand any of the negative reviews. The owner was very warm and inviting, and the staff, attentive and courteous. Our wine expert was fun and knowledgeable.

The food was perfect for the occasion and very tasty. A scenic, charming setting. Rustic and authentic, with wine to match!

The train ride is simply a fun diversion, a relaxing old school trek through a wooded area of Calera. If you're thinking Disneyland, don't. It's a simple, slow paced excursion meant to be enjoyed by the participants for the very simplicity.

An absolutely perfect Saturday activity after a long work week. If you appreciate the simple things in life, or even the finer things at a slow pace, then this is for you. Southern living, refined. Well done, Ozan!

They should really do a more thorough explanation about the train ride. It was a complete waste of time. I would have enjoyed saving that money and putting the money on some other part of vineyard.

My favorite local winery. Never disappoints.

This place is pretty cool and worth a visit if you’re in the area. The wine is delicious, with a variety of types/flavors and the bottles are price very reasonably. The food is good as well but not exceptional. The staff are all very kind and accommodating. The tour itself is very short and basically consists of a short walk from the cafe to the train. If you’re looking for an over-the-top experience, this is not it. The train ride takes you on a linear path a couple miles down the track, then stops and comes right back. There is no food or drink on the train and there’s virtually nothing of interest to look at on the ride; just Alabama woods 10 feet away from the train. If you have never been on a train and just want the experience, go for it; otherwise this can be skipped. Save the money and spend it at the cafe on some wine. During the tasting, every wine is explained and poured for you a glass at a time and there is a charcuterie board to snack on. It is a relaxing experience and not rushed. You get to sample many wines and the portions are generous. That part of the experience is worth the visit alone. I recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area but I wouldn’t travel a great distance for it.

The wine and spirits were amazing! We stopped due to a backup on 65 and it was well worth the detour. Cindy and Heath were so helpful and kind. We had flights of the Alabama Dry and the Sweet and Chilled. We ended up going home with 4 bottles of wine, gin, and yellow whiskey. Cindy and Heath were so helpful and kind. We will definitely be back when we are on our next trip south, however, we are so excited that they will ship to us in Indiana!

Bad experience.

Randomly stopped here for a rest on the way back home to Madison, AL today. Cindy was a great host and their wines and spirits are lovely. Ended up taking a few bottles home.

Great atmosphere and views of the vineyards as well. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area again!

We partook in the Saturday morning train ride and wine tasting. It was a great experience. We purchased a couple of bottles for home and plan to visit again!
