First time here. Stopped for lunch on our way to Montgomery to visit family. The service was super friendly and prompt. The food was average. The lemon pepper smoked wings were extremely over seasoned! The fried okra was average. The redneck chicken was just ok. We did enjoy the thick curly fries. They were good. We also thought the pimento cheese balls with marinara were delicious. We enjoyed the music! That’s the only reason for the 3 stars on the atmosphere…The restaurant itself was a bit run down and needs a deep cleaning. The ceiling fans were super dusty and there were water spots and black spots which appeared to be mold like on the ceiling. Though we enjoyed some of the food and found the service to be outstanding, we most likely won’t be back anytime soon due to the lack of cleanliness.

Amberline and Jt was amazing. I was traveling . It was close to closing and there were able to serve us at the last minute. I'm so thankful because everything was close and we needed food asap. Thank you so Much and we look forward to eating in next time

As a first-time visitor, I was concerned because so few diners were there during the lunch hour. We came to the conclusion that this is because, this is not fast food. However, there were nine in my group and we were all happy with our food. Appetizers, entrees and dessert were ordered. Not one complaint about the food. My chicken fried chicken, was the best I have had in years. The gravy and mashed potatoes were excellent. I'm looking forward to a return visit.

Visited here recently, fun environment with live music some nights. Also have touchtunes music.pool tables ,dartboard,and a couple other games...The food is really good here.They have a Fried appetizer:pimento cheese/Bacon fritters...SO GOOD!I got the house salad with steak and my bf got the Smoked turkey club sandwich with onion rings..delicious food...laid back environment...children friendly UNTIL AFTER 10 ,I THINK..THEN NO CHILDREN ALLOWED DURING BAR HOURS.Employees were friendly and accomodating great lil hangout spot.Wide variety draft list ..Happy hour specials on drinks n shots as well...prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food and drinks here .
The food at Sage Bar & Grill is absolutely fantastic!! I've dined in and had delivery and it is always good. The menu's and drink list's are more what you would find at a upscale restaurant, not a "bar & grill" but surprisingly, it's all found at Calera's best kept secret!! There is plenty of seating inside along with billiard tables and televisions streaming sports programs! Roll Tide!! There is also seating outside to dine and for smokers to gather. They also have live music and karaoke but you'll need to check their advertisements on dates and times, or call. I've never been there when it is crowded but I've seen the parking lot full when driving by, and it's a big parking lot. I call it a "best kept secret" because otherwise Sage would be crowded all the time just because the food is that good.
Parking: Plenty of parking surrounding the restaurant and wheelchair accessible.
The food was great. My first drink was awlful. It was a White Russian that was made with wrong ingredients or spoiled milk. I complained to the waitress and she insulted me by bringing over a drink menu and pointing out what goes into that drink. Informed her nicely that I was aware of ingredients, but that doesn't mean it was made right. She told me she had told the bartender. I ordered another drink that was fine. The White Russian sat untouched at my table all night. The drink was also on my bill. Sould not have been charged for the awlful drink and should have received an apology. They should care more about pleasing their customers and improving their customer service.
